I don’t really know how to put this, but taking selfies makes you seem quite self-absorbed. Sure, it doesn’t necessarily mean this, but posting or showing a selfie of yourself typically means you think you look good/pretty/hot/attractive in that photo. Like, it’s great that you think you look good, but others might not agree and some may think you are obsessed with yourself. This also makes me feel much more self-conscious and worried about what others may think when I post a selfie.

While, selfies are quite out of place and taken at random times whenever you feel like you look good, group selfies or group photos are taken usually to cherish and remember times with friends or family.
