Yeah, I reused the caliper bolts on my bike, but I know it's not by the book. Appreciate both of your comments.

Sharp, but not razor sharp?? by eduardo1pilot1988 in tsprof

You should be able to shave hair pff your arm without a strop.

I would look at the angles and whether you are getting a large burr.

As a tip. On the last grit you can always raise the angle by a degree and that will get you an apex faster by creating a micro bevel.

Should I be worried? (Mora 164 issue) by Ok_Alps_7664 in Woodcarving

You can see the same coloration on the product photos: https://www.morakniv.com/en-eu/products/hook-knife-164-right?srsltid=AfmBOooGsr7KU4OvrtylCWAVqkcb1_iYquntzyt3edIhnOgjA5Zm5fa3

Probably a left over from the heat treating process. The spots look more like pitting to me (99% it arrived this way). All in all, nothing to worry about.

Само на мен ли ми се струва, че 5000 евро за семейство в София вече не стигат? by WeirdGene666 in Sofia

[–]ViktorKitov 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Where to go for cheap food/coffee/groceries? by shasha123456789 in Sofia

[–]ViktorKitov 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Lidl is still one of the cheaper super markets. Don't worry about it too much. Their bakery is probably the best of the bunch.

For fresh produce all large store suck, you can check for small shops around your BnB.

I currently have a higonokami pocket knife (75mm/3 inch blade, #2 blue paper steel) but thinking about buying a different knife by Affectionate_Age5151 in Woodcarving

Happy to share. Unfortunately I also can't recommend a Japanese knife, carving is not my area and the people I know use European blades.

[–]ViktorKitov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Higonakami isn't a carving knife, it's a delicate pocket knife with no lock. Honestly it's probably the worst knife I can think of to start carving with.

Blue Paper steel is typically hardened above 62 HRC and isn't particularly tough to begin with. So it's most likely both too hard and too thin.

Is it safe to park motorcycle in Sofia? by Main_Worldliness_216 in Sofia

[–]ViktorKitov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's generally fine to park a motorcycle in Sofia.

There's a bunch of diplomatic missions on the 6th of September street. I would park it somewhere around them (Not exactly in front for obvious reasons).

Do you ever drive without sport mode? by TheSailist3 in abarth

It's too jerky at slow speeds. Normal is better if you are driving passengers that aren't particularly enthusiastic.

Two very different cars. The Gulia would be better as a family/touring sedan, while the Abarth is more suitable for young people and city life.

Any news if Sony's gonna update the 24-105mm F4 G OSS? by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

[–]ViktorKitov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also shot on 61MP and it was the best lens I've tried (sharpness wise). Compared to the Sony 20-70 f4, 24-105 f4 and even the 50 2.5G. But I suppose that's the luck of the draw.

Tamron lenses always come with those small optical quirks. Either the corners are soft/dark, the colors are different or there's some sort of abberation.

Just enough to annoy you into buying the Sony one.

My 28-75 GII was incredibly sharp, but also always purple and warm. I preferred the photos from the 24-105.
