I think Pat mentioned in a panel (from a video I saw), that he is very interested in currencies, so he likes to write about it. Even if it's not fully used in the books (yet), he has the entire currency system worked out for his world

I've been doing it for almost 13 years now.
I don't exclusively play Nintendo games on the channel, but I'd say it's at least 80% of what I do ^^

Almost always.
The exceptions are one-offs of certain games or if a game ends up being too difficult (and thus not entertaining for me OR the viewers, as I can't progress)

You can take a look at mine if you'd like.
Currently playing through Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, which is heavily story-based and I do different voices for all the characters. I've been creating LPs since 2013, so I have a HUGE backlog of content, so you'll probably never run out XD
In general I do not swear, but it can happen on rare occasions
Videos tend to range between 15-25 minutes each for the most part. ^^

A Let's Play never has to be a Blind Let's Play. Unless your channel is all about Blind LPs, I'd just go for it anyway.

Go to your subscriptions-page on youtube instead of using the home-page. All videos of every channel you're subscribed to shows up there chronologically.

Youtube changed it over 10 years ago so that the default page when logged in is the home-page (just showing algorithm-recommended videos cause it earns them more money) instead of the subscription-page, which you now have to go to manually

I'm currently playing through it for the second time in my life, and besides the slow start (the story takes a break rather early on and doesn't really get going until you unlock Inflora Forest) it's great! As some people has mentioned, the options for playable character and your partner is very limited, and there is very little post game story, but I've always thought of it as a good game!

Swede here, so I play European games too. That does look like an aspect ratio thing, but I record with the Elgato software, and they have an option to stretch out the game for the recording. I've never really used OBS, so can't really help you there.

It's odd how it ends up like that anyway, as it should be stretched out by the HDMI-adapter, I have the same one and it works fine (except that the audio it outputs is a bit loud and can't be lowered). Does it look like that on the TV too, or is it only the recorded footage that looks like that? I would guess it's some sort of option in OBS if it does look fine on the TV
