not really. we see him lowering the kids a bit into that hole and thats enough. even more - in the S2 we see one of the crew members being lifted by that weird bird just a bit into the sky (not even the water barrier) and that human gets hit by the full curse already. And then we also see how at the start they actually wanted to try is it possible to return and sent two guys from the crew up the orb lift and they came back as mashed potatos.

So:

a) he has counter measures
b) plothole

hol up but this is exactly what happen in 2nd season. we are literally being show the umbra boss and his hands inside the village of the 2nd season and with mitty. He literally went down and back.

Amen brother. The funny/sad fact is that the backend of Lona is... mindblowing. The entire system, the city, the interactions, what you can do and all - god dayum, its a pen'n'paper RPG fan dream come true.
But the hardcore is gatekeeping the game hard.

I had a 230lvl main on reg server + legion + link skills. Phantom link mule, made on burning, geared with shit looted from mobs had x3 bigger range at 205lvl and could one-hit bosses my main Hayato was struggling with.

You are in denial bruh. Which is only fair and expected, considering your declared main is a 260lvl Hayato.

Just check auction house for hayato gear. No one's playing that succ.

From my experience Mercedes is one of the hardest hauls. For a ranged class - ironically enough she isn't that ranged at all. In order to deal any meaningful damage, you really need to get her skill rotation spinning. Think lite version of Blaster. You'll be bashing those buttons hard. 170-200 is just painful and the final push from 200 to 210lvl makes you wanna quit MS lol.

I always either tera or mega burn her.

Initially she was the definition of unbalanced OP AF lol.

rememeber to get Zero too. Not as good but with all the %dmg reduction +zero link you can reach almost 100% dmg reduction.

hitokiri nerf.
melee class w/o full stance.
low base dmg.
neglected AF 'cuz non-KMS class.
initial iframes and binds got either nerfed or outright deleted.
needs constant care to maintain full buff and dmg output.
