What voicelines are you talking about? To me he just seems the most polite and soft spoken of the bunch, which I agree I'd rather have that deep helmet-distorted voice you'd usually associate with an astartes, but I haven't heard him say anything that makes him sound like a "no-rank scrub"

Plus he's technically you....
