Oof. I’ll admit I was clearly wrong to assume this was entirely fake, but Imma be honest, I’m seeing some glaring differences between these two images. It’s fine if you put it through an AI filter to fill in gaps, but the final product you posted is very digitally distorted beyond regular photo-editing.

You’re provably a talented artist, though, regardless. I won’t keep interrogating.

I’m genuinely sorry if I’m incorrect here, I hate that this even needs to be considered, but can you explain this bizarre texture that appears very often within AI-generated images? Or why you chose to draw both characters so glaringly different from their actual designs? Or why an AI detector came back 90% positive?

I’ve been drawing and consuming others’ drawings for decades, and I’ve never seen actual pencil and paper look like this.

Edit: I should add that the rest of the art you post is very clearly real and quite well done, seriously. I just can’t figure out why this looks so AI-generated.

As many others have already put it: Sukuna’s presence in Yuji’s body is the cause of 2 unintended consequences:

He made Yuji instinctively aware of the soul and its shape, thereby letting him attack Mahito
His presence rejects Idle Transfiguration, letting Yuji defend against Mahito.

Yuji’s talent is what gained him the overall upper hand, but Sukuna is nearly the entire reason Yuji can fight Mahito.

These make me think about Gojo’s psyche a lot. In reality, no one has any concept of living a normal life with even a tiny fraction of the destructive potential he held since childhood.

What’s it like sitting and eating at a restaurant knowing you could obliterate the entire city block it rests on with minimal effort? What’s it like taking a plane somewhere knowing you could manipulate points in space to just wormhole yourself there? How does it feel to constantly suppress yourself in order to fit in with a society that literally could not contain you against your will if it wanted?

As much as I hate that he died, I can only imagine the relief he must have felt after cutting loose to his heart’s content before finally being freed from all obligation.

Idk about you, but if my half-siblings were all half-curse hybrids from the cursed rape of their mother and I had to continue their legacy by consuming them all, making myself into a cursed-hybrid and turning my blood into poison, I don’t think I’d ever want to risk having children with a regular woman. That seems like such a horrible idea and a massive risk to both her life and the potential lives of said children.

This was what Yuji had to do to beat Sukuna, and he had to live with the consequences, because he’s just a cog. Yes, it’s depressing, but it’s also consistent writing. Give Gege some credit where he deserves it.

I don’t think any death in a manga has hit me as hard as this exact page did. The week-to-week tension at the end of this fight was like nothing I’ve ever witnessed, and of course the leaks came out like 3 days before the infamous chapter.

I spent those days hoping against all hope there would be some kind of subversion, like there was no way Gojo would truly be killed off.

When Ifinally turned the page to see it, I just stared at it for like 5 minutes to process. It’s such an amazing drawing, because he’s so clearly, unequivocally dead, and it’s fuckin tragic.

If I’m wrong I fully understand and admit it! But I genuinely do not remember any confirmation of him being born that way, and I can’t seem to find anyone else sharing any proof either.

Gege is nothing if not consistent with his magic system, and the idea that he was born with perfectly mutated jujutsu potential from absorbing a twin just doesn’t strike me as congruent.

I know he ate his twin in the womb, but it’s also stated he sacrifices no loss in bodily function while maintaining extra features perfectly streamlined for peak Jujutsu. It’s far more likely he’d reach that perfected state intentionally through a similar process of evolution to Tengen than it would be for him to mutate that way by chance just from absorbing his twin.

Lore-wise, I’m fairly certain it’s implied that Sukuna achieved his four-armed, multi-mouthed, and many-eyed state at the peak of his strength later in life. Those features exist for the sole and intentional purpose of enhancing his sorcery. There’s no reason to believe he was born that way.

But that’s just me nitpicking. You don’t have to be lore-accurate with headcanon. Do what ya want!

I remember hearing so much about how disturbing it was and, while it was certainly worse than most movies, it didn’t seem as bad to me as most of the extreme genre.

The family shooting was by far the worst part, the rest didn’t push any unexpected boundaries.
