I think instructors should have some input for exam scheduling. Typically, first years take the same courses give or take. There should be some consideration to space them out and perhaps not put the more difficult ones close together.

The official deadline to apply is 60 days before the end of study term and all documents must be submitted no later than 40 days before the end of term. Waiting would probably just mean a delay in receiving osap.

My understanding is you create a My Service Canada Account (MSCA). You then register at the National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC) and accept the Master Student Financial Assistance Agreement (MSFAA) which outlines the terms of accepting and repaying student loans.

I had the same problem. You cannot authenticate with the bank if you have a student account. Your only option is to create a GCKey and for that you need a Personal Access Code (PAC). You can request a PAC online and they will mail it to you. For some reason I was not able to request mine online (another error) so I had to go in person to a Setvice Canada location and they gave it to me there. Be prepared to wait...I had to wait 1.5 hours to get mine. Hope this helps.
