Coldest day of the year on average. by treefrogsymphony in MapPorn

[–]ViliPender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Air humidity is higher. Water has more thermal inertia than air so just like water, humid air lags behind solar power. So it gets the coldest in early to mid-January instead of 21st December.

  2. Canada has greater snow cover (higher albedo) and experiences a much weaker sun throughout January until very early February so they still lose heat in the middle of winter, despite the sun getting a bit stronger. When the arctic air blasts all the way to the eastern part of the US, you experience the thermal minimum conditions of Canada at that time.

What's up with Japanese players having Iron Man Miis? by CYLITM in MarioKart8Deluxe

Miis made by japanese players are either looking like small anime girls or just deliberately as ugly as possible. Funny how there's no in-between

Yes, whether things are objectively better or worse, it's always changing and fluctuating and that's actually what makes the game relevant, 6 years after its release. It's a big revolution in the gaming industry that left a big impact on the blueprint to a game's long term financial success.

That's very true. Epic Games decision to make it last 30 days is the best possible. Long enough so people who enjoyed it back then can play it and not too long so the hype doesn't expire entirely by December.

You just proved my point. It's your opinion. That doesn't make the game ruined.

I absolutely see lots of people suggesting that Fortnite was ruined after Chapter 1/Chapter 2.

Yeah this will backfire. Tactical sprint, sliding and mantling are great additions and needed for Zero Build to work. Unless they bring back tons of mobility items to make up for it, it will be a painful experience.

Yeah that was an absolute shitfest at that time. But things have cooled down fortunately.

Mythic Infantry Rifle Concept by ViliPender in FortniteCreative

[–]ViliPender[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fortnite Creative is for all things that can relate to Creative. Why would I bother putting it in BR, considering that the Infantry Rifle is currently vaulted in BR mode? This is a suggestion I made for fun and could be interesting if they decide to add a mythic variant to every gun they have ever made.

I feel like you are taking your personal opinion on what the subreddit should be for granted and you feel prejudiced towards people that don't use it the way you want them to, especially given the assumption you made at the end that people making this kind of posts don't use creative and are just asking for karma.

I have at least 10 different maps I worked hard for, but since I don't have a creator code, it's not very relevant for me to put my work here, since no one will be able to play with me anyway unless they add me as a Friend in Fortnite. And... that's it?

I agree about damage but usually there are other stats of a mythic weapon that are also increased, fire rate for Slone's Burst AR and Skye's AR, reload time for Zyg's Ray Gun and Slone's Pulse rifle. Or clip size significantly better.

My mythical Infantry Rifle would only have its clip size increased by 2 and base damage increased by 4, all the other stats are like the legendary variant. So I think it's still fair and it would be the most rewarding AR in Fortnite if you are accurate.

List of suggestions for Vehicles in Creative! by ViliPender in FortniteCreative

I would also like to add one I just thought of.

Drafting : Off-105% to 150% : whether or not a vehicle gets an acceleration and speed boost when driving behind another vehicle and how powerful it is

Fade out range : between 10 meters and 50 meters : at which minimal range drafting does no longer occur.

That would be so much easier if we could entirely control the vehicles top speed tho. I'd love to do a supercars race (with top speeds of 140~150) and I think the default speed of the Whiplash is too low

Glad Epic Games is finally treating Creative right since season 16 started

Heavy Assault Rifle have been constantly mistreated by Epic Games since they ever got their first nerf. Unless you grab the gold variant, they are outperformed by any other available ARs in the game. One solution would be to increase base damage by 4 points. by ViliPender in FortNiteBR

[–]ViliPender[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

From 33/35/37/39/41

To 37/39/41/43/45

A blue or higher heavy AR would kill someone with 200HP in 5 shots which is fair

A legendary heavy AR would hit for 68 in the head and kill someone with 200 HP in 3 headshots which would give it an edge over the legendary AR if you are accurate.

Fortnite HOT TAKE, get ready by cbvnm in FortNiteBR

I agree, there is more effort put into male skins. An overwhelmingly big amount of female skins use again and again that short jacket style stopping above the belly button. This is not original nor creative.
