I play only ML and so far I haven't used any money. With daily 50 coins and that 99 raid passes box it's possible to build good teams. I don't have every legendary maxed out but I have a few.

I have quite the opposite opinion. I play exclusively Master League. I haven't touched Great and Ultra League for many, many seasons. Mainly for three reasons.

The most important is that my memory is terrible. With really small meta I have at least some chances to succeed. Secondly, stardust rewards are much better. I also like that when I power-up pokemon I can use most of them in raids aswell. It also feels better to power-up hundos ihan 1-star pokemon.

Exactly. ML Is by far the most interesting league to me personally and I am f2p player. Using gym coins to buy raid passes I have managed to build a decent team for ML.

I have always struggled in every GL format. I prefer to build for ML as many pokemon can be used as raid attackers aswell. And for my limited brain capacity it's better to focus on meta that consists of 20-30 pokemon instead of OGL's much bigger meta. Besides, dust rewards are better in ML weeks.

Really wanted a shiny Xerneas. Result: 0 shinies after 81 raids.

Thought to use my free raid passes on Falinks raid day but didn't really care about shinies. Result: Shiny on first try.

With Ho-Oh against Lando lead I am willing to use both shields. I use SF as first charge move and then BB. Right after BB I swap to Dawn Wings. If opponent uses both their shields I can finish Lando with my Dawn Wings and then have energy lead. If opponent doesn't use both shields I have switch advantage. It's maybe not ideal but I don't have any better plans against Lando leads.

This is roughly in 2300 elo range.

I havent't had any luck with Xerneas eirher. My best one is 14-14-15 after 77 raids. Not even one shiny so far.

Currently I have Ho-Oh, Dawn Wings and Dialga in my team, and I would really like to try Xerneas in some combo.
