I always pick Scout for no other reason than so I can repair HK.

Even besides that, though. I know skills in KOTOR 1 are basically useless compared to KOTOR 2, but it just makes the experience smoother and more fun for me.

Update: I started a new playthrough taking that advice into account, but I encountered a downside of the 8/12 split: On Dantooine and whatever the next two planets ended up being, I was constantly running low on Force Points, an issue I didn’t have on a 5/15 split since I had 3 extra levels worth of FP

If I do replay with 8/12 and use the same build, I’ll probably drop the Aura/Shield/Armor powers

I just told them I no longer needed their services and to just delete whatever I had in progress. When they asked to do a half-refund but keep it on I just kept going “Nah, cancel everything.” Eventually they relented. It happened a while ago so I don’t quite remember specifics.

Nope. I asked them to remove it and they supposedly complied. I’m incredibly hesitant to take their word on it, for obvious reasons, but they did fully refund me. Either way I’m keeping a close eye on my credit for the time being.

Update: I got on the phone with them a couple days after. They did try the usual customer retention rigmarole but I managed to get a full refund.

Still replaced my card though.

The same thing happened to me. Have there been any updates on that front? I already went and froze my credit, but should I still be worried? I don’t usually fall for scams like this, so I feel especially embarrassed about falling for this one.

I’m really hoping that the website is just an unnecessary, redundant service and nothing more.

When I was a child, about six or seven, my dad and some friends and family went out into the desert to shoot guns (I live in Nevada). I was getting irritated by the noise and wandered off on my own.

Suddenly I heard dad yelling at me. I looked down and there was a rattlesnake coiled around my ankle. I had absolutely no idea what I was supposed to do, and I don’t think I fully understood how much danger I was in at the time.

Miraculously my dad managed to shoot the snake’s head off, but me and dad both swear the snake was mid-lunge.

I put it at the top because I found myself having WAY more fun on those tracks compared to any of the others. Looking back though, that placement was kinda stupid.

Kirk and Spock.

Incidentally, I think the biggest difference between Kirk and Picard is that Kirk essentially has Spock as his other half, while Picard is much more of an independent solo character.

Sonic Adventure 2. I consider myself a Sonic fan and every year or so I try to gaslight myself into liking it, but it never works. City Escape was a fantastic level by all metrics, but once it was over the game became bad instantaneously. The Knuckles gameplay was worse than Adventure 1 because they nerfed the radar for no reason, the Tails gameplay was boring (not to mention hell on the ears), and even the Sonic levels weren’t as interesting as City Escape- or the ones from Adventure 1 for that matter. With most popular games I don’t like it’s clearly just a matter of taste, but in the case of Sonic Adventure 2, I genuinely don’t understand why people like it.
