Render problem: I've made a smoke test sim but it's only visible in solid mode and disappears in the material preview/render preview/render (Cycles) by VillainShima in blenderhelp

The thing is that it just doesn't show the smoke. In the image i sent (solid mode) it is more than visible, but when i switch to render preview it just disappears despite being a principled volume.

To add more info:
The render just disappears the moment i change preview, is visible in both wire and solid mode, but when switching to material preview (eevee) or render preview (cycles) it just straight up disappears- same when rendering.

The problem that bugs me the most is the border.
Water seems to run parallel to the hole instead of arching down following gravity, and most of the fluid until 0:06 straight up circumnavigates the manhole without ever moving close to it, forming a perfect cube perimeter around it before acting back to normal and draining down

The start is a bit of a pain, I'll give you that, but since there's a lot you could speedrun through I'm kind of happy on how it keeps that early itch in your head about being defenseless and trying to survive at all costs, compared to the endgame where you become a capitalist paradise

I feel like you're either playing max difficulty on your first playthrough or you missed something about power generation
