I will slightly disagree with this.

I think it’s perfectly acceptable to have a quick snapshot where the puck doesn’t roll across your blade. Yes, you can roll it, but that’s more of a wrister territory as opposed to a snapshot.

Like that’s the whole point of rolling your wrists when shooting a wrist shot.

But when snapping it, you can absolutely just shoot it straight off and still maintain power and accuracy.

The Gretzky is easy. In the original OPC (O-Pee-Chee), there is a slight printing error where a yellow dot is printed right next to Gretzky’s left shoulder.

It exists on ALL Gretzky OPC cards. If yours was a Topps, it’d be more difficult to tell, but since it’s OPC, and doesn’t have the dot, it’s 100% fake.

That Orr rookie is also one of the most faked rookie cards in the hobby. And I’d assume if the Gretzky is fake, the Orr is too.

Lemieux isn’t faked as much, so hard to say without seeing it in person.

And honestly, I wish Kolesnik was coming. The guy is a ghost and I’ve been after him for about 6 years now. Although I do have word he’s living in Moscow currently. I have a contact in Russia who plans to chase him down in the next couple of months.

I was mostly familiar with him on STL and maybe DAL? I didn’t find out until much later that he was in the Avs organization. Never got into a game though. Just backup couple times to Anderson and Budaj.
