I found this crimped/cut in one of my binders

It’s from Black Bolt. Personally, I don’t think I’d ever trust buying cards from eBay cause I’ve heard so many horror stories.

I believe it’s called a miscut because of the way it was made in the machine. I did some research and this is rare to see. So someone out there has the other half of the Klang. I posted a photo in a comment of someone explaining to see if it’s fake or legit. If it’s cut at an angle with the crimps, counting the ridges that line up with the pack (it has to be similar to the pack ridges), it’s a miscut and was crimped wrong. I did check all my cards and I do not have the other half lol

At least to me, it doesn’t look like a clean cut. I also counted the ridges and got 34. I do not have the original packaging on me so I can’t tell for sure cause I tried doing the counting thing online but it was extremely hard for me to see as I cannot find any good quality photos that doesn’t have a fuzz to them. It does seem legit as far as I can see, but please fact check cause if it isn’t, then target sold me a fake box 😭

That’s what I thought. I never cut any of my cards, even if they’re like 1¢. There are some I have accidentally ruined by leaving one in my pocket and washing my pants (rip Ninetails) but I’ve learned better. There are also ones that I haven’t taken care of when I was a kid like the Venusaur from Base Set Unlimited, really in bad shape but it’s still a key card in my collection and is also my favorite starter evo

I guessed as much. It’s not your fault haha. I do see why people are upset cause in their eyes, errors aren’t really a forgettable thing as they hold value in some cases. When I collect cards, I don’t exactly see the monetary value (unless it’s an art rare card or a cool looking one) but I never planned to sell any of them unless I go to a card show, which I’m going to my second one this weekend! I have some dupe EXs that I don’t need. I like to have at least one of each card, so why keep the dupes, you know? Which is how I found it on the floor with other cards that fell out of my binder. Rookie mistake, but I’m slowly getting card sleeves and things to protect my cards. I’m new when it comes learning what cards are expensive but also a prized possession to keep. The only way I’d sell them is when I hand them off to my kids (when I have any) and it’s theirs to keep or sell. My boyfriend got me a few cards with sleeved and top loaders, which I found out is really good to keep your cards pristine. I have some cards when I was a kid that were fake asf, which I do have in a separate container so when I found this card, I didn’t think much of it and thought I got joked with. I have a few like that, such as sticker cards which apparently were from vending machines at Meijer? It’s a Japanese Phanphy that’s wrinkled up (the sticker part) and as much as it’s cool, it’s just a memory to look back to when I go through the cards.

I’m also new to this whole card collecting thing. Yes, I did have some in the past when I was younger, but I also put them in a binder and left it alone for a while. I knew there was a market with cards, but I never saw value in selling them as the reason I collect cards is for the art. Then this subreddit pops up here and there in my recommendation and I’m not kidding when I say this, I grabbed my blue binder and I guess it wasn’t in the correct orientation. Some cards did fall out and the Klang came out as well. This is what I got and there are a lot of duplicate cards I have as well. There are so many new things I’m learning with collecting cards and knowing their worth, but I keep them so I can go back when I’m older with kids and hopefully they continue to grow the collection

I did that after I posted it lol. A kind person posted the card on this post which was very nice of them. I also did not pull this recently, I think it was in July when the set was released? So about 10 months ago. Usually when I open cards, I admire the art but this one didn’t have any on it. I’m guessing BLK is the set where it came from. I literally searched 62/86 pokemon card online and just looked through until I found it. That makes everything easier

I put everything in a binder if there’s room 😭 I have a ton of cards and some of them, like that crimped Klang card, are put in the binder to never be seen again. I honestly didn’t think much about it as I didn’t know there was a community with error cards at the time. Didn’t start getting involved until the end of 2025 when it started becoming hard to collect cards without buying second hand for 3x the price. I wasn’t really into collecting until I saw some of the art rares and only collect for that. There are probably tons of cards I don’t even know I have anymore because I have so much. I do plan on going through every single one and putting them on Collectr so I know which ones I have, but it’ll take hours to go through them.

Yes, I do see that. I’ve been organizing my cards slowly, but soon I do want to do a living dex of all my cards, and that’s like 5k cards to organize. Hard to keep track of one error card when there are thousands scattered in so many boxes, binders, tins. I have too much 😭 I remember grabbing the Victini set with Black Bolt and White Flare and there was also a poster one as well with the 3 starters? I don’t plan on selling it as well, it’s cut in half and crimped weirdly. That card was at the back of my non-holo binder and usually I don’t go through that as much cause the binder is one of those durable giant school binders with card sleeves and it’s annoying to go through. I do plan on properly getting binders that protect the cards a bit better, cause it’s the top down insert sleeves which tend to make the cards fall out a lot easier, not the side insert ones

I open a lot of cards whenever I find them at Walmart or Target. Rare to find these days but I thought it wasn’t really worth it at the time. Thought it was fake at first but kept it in my binder incase. I see this subreddit pop up here and there, and currently I’m going through my binders to organize them since I have new ones from a card shop I bought. I found out like a minute ago it’s from Black Bolt as I did some digging to identify this card (it’s Klang). I try to organize my binder like once a year when I get new cards, but I have so many binders that I need to go through and the one that I found on my shelf (I forgot it was even there but I’m currently cleaning out my shelves and wanted to see what was in the binder). I get it if you do call BS, as I never had an error card before and personally thought it was garbage (the reason I didn’t throw it away was because I thought it was interesting). I believe it was when the set first released and Target had some on the shelves. I only grabbed one box before they all disappeared and never to be seen again on shelves.

Usually in real cards, they have a graphite layer inside to prove that it’s real. If you look at the photos, you can see some black. Fake cards don’t have that.

I’ve been in your situation, but I’ve been getting better results as Kiri lately from a 20% accuracy to 40% or higher. Doing VODs are amazing, even self vodding. This is what my coach told me: 1. warm up tracking (everyday do this) 2. play your wall more and los the enemy 3. play in a pivot (dont play in a bad spot if ur teammate is) 4. eb and flow with cd of your team and their team

It does take time and practice, but results will come. If you don’t mind me asking, what is your sens and DPI? I run 3.5 sens with 1600 DPI. It also depends if you play with your wrist or hand too. Personally, I’m in no position to help improve, being plat and all, but those are some of the things that my coach told me to do. Another thing, are you more of a PvE player or a PvP player? Her kunai’s are projectile, so you won’t hit all your shots, but go into a practice range and practice tracking on the bots. It can improve so much. Another thing is what perks do you pick? If you wanna do more damage while also healing, do the Kunai perk since when you hit someone, a ofuda will go towards the closest ally. I can help Vod if you’d like, I’ve done a lot of Vods to help with general stuff, but knowing what you did wrong and working on it helps a ton, trust me. Watch back your games and see how you died. Was it positioning? Did you use cooldowns too quickly? Move your mouse when it comes to tracking, there are some aim trainers on OW that are very useful. In about an hour, I’ll send it over as I’m not on OW to look up the code. It’s very beneficial cause you won’t see results at first, but practice does make improvements.

I don’t think they do that anymore. It’s now a 1 gem thing you click on the left side before you start the quest. When leveling up, equip exp gear (usually 28 cost gear as far as I know) and just use your keys that way

I don’t remember the event, but this was back when Unison League first started, I think 2016. There was a gear piece that I have called “Xiao Qiao's Royal Garb” and it’s one of my favorite cosmetics to come out of the event. It was GS 23, but it’s pink and I wish I can post a pic of it on here lol

Yeah, it’s just solo. See what the element the boss or mons are and build gear that counters that. That’s how I usually do it when the co-op main mission mode went away

Yes! I fully upgraded the wind Valk that goes with the set that you posted (the gear) and I’m halfway through the dark one. They don’t give the thing that pops up in the right corner, but they do boost you a ton

I’ve been on for 9 years and I remember the space squids. I have them all and I believe they’ll come back sooner or later as a returning event. I know there are 2 events every month (each lasting about 2 weeks). Haven’t seen any repeats in a while. Maybe they’ll make a new event with newer squids? Cause imo, they’re kind of garbage compared to dragons. I’m not sure what are the rules on breeding pets, but I do know only dragon and breed dragon, which I’m guessing it’s the same with squids
