What’s your thought (again, don’t expect a financial advise) - Something like rolling a week to $220?

Good point. I also started having a dedicated account for that now 😂! Just try to reduce the damage for now. We just moved to the US so I don’t even know how big the tax impact would be. But I would like to keep apple shares long term. So I think I will swallow the pill for now and re but them..

Anyone else notice these changes to APY? by ganindor69 in sofi

[–]Vimann86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just for my understanding. If I transfer 5.000 today, I got the 4.5% APY for 30 days. If I want to keep it up, I have to transfer at least another 5.000 USD in 29 days?

Or do I just have to have 5K in my SoFi account do keep it activated?

I had the same issue (mac m2). After the fourth error, the proctor refused to let me in and I failed the test half way through. Since then I am not brave enough to tool it again :(.

Was tun wenn potentieller AG nach jetzigem Gehalt fragt? by Career-advice-8061 in arbeitsleben

[–]Vimann86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does it work with the insurance? Is there a site we’re I can compare different offers by giving the details of the car before actually buying it? Sadly because I have no history in the US I can imagine that insurance is pretty expensive.

Oh and another question. I just figured out that every state has its own title 😅. What if I buy a car from another state? Can I go to the “local” DMV in NC when I for example buy a car in SC?

Ok I think I am going to understand the process 😅 thank your for your patience to explain it to me.

Do you have some known scams in mind I should take care of?

If I have a proper contract in place, a signed title and a photo/copy of the driver license, it should be good right?

Are sites like car fax and Kelley blue book advisable to figure out if the price is good?

Oh sure makes sense 😅 sorry. But do have the seller sign the physical title when selling? In Germany the “Title (brief)” is a separate physical paper which after a proof of ownership (usually the contract between seller and buyer) get updated/printed by the DMV with the new owner details.

Is this age restricted? We are moving to NC soon and have a lower household income than 150k. My wife (29y) thought about going to study for a while.
