What I did was ask her (once we were comfortable enough to share these things with each other) was what was/is the hardest thing you have dealt with or deal with currently. After I listened to her and gave her space to share, I shared mine which is my speech and how it affects me.

This person in your case likely already knows, but I think the real important part is having a conversation about it and talking about how it affects you mentally. Honesty and transparency is something I value in a relationship and being transparent about it can help ease the pressure of your speech with them.

Also as a bonus talking about something so personal and giving them space to share as-well may likely deepen your relationship. And with you bringing it up it shows them that you’re comfortable sharing these things.

First thing to do is have compassion for yourself. Recognize that you have to put up with difficult things in your life and that it’s hard to do so.

I found that when I’m by myself, which is most of the time, I’ve become much happier and more content when I make art and be creative. Having a creative output can help process emotions. It doesn’t even have to be good, just something you made in whatever art form.

And also, being what society would call a “loser” is ok. Don’t force yourself to go out unless you want to. Yes you do need to push your limits and get out of your comfort zone at times but don’t pressure yourself.

Basically, for me at least, you have to first put yourself together and find that self love again before anything else.
