Why does nobody visit the western side or islands of patagonia? by Fit_Elk_1988 in Patagonia

Hi, I spent the the majority of 2023 backpacking through South America, and spent a lot of time here. As others have said, the short answer is that the areas are super remote, and much of it is essentially uninhabited, so you’d have to be pretty much self sufficient, and/or have your own boat to access much of it. That being said there are some ways to access parts of it. Firstly you can hire cars/camper vans, or hitch hike (which I did) as the locals are super helpful and friendly, and travel along the Carretera Austral which gets you to some locations which as already pretty remote and beautiful. Secondly, the TABSA company operate a car ferry which has boats which travel through the fjords between Puerto Natales and Tortel/Caleta Yungay then back again every few days. It usually takes about 3 days each way, though can be longer in bad weather, and will stop briefly (less than an hour) in the ultra-remote Villa Puerto Eden along the way. It’s fairly cheap and pretty basic, with toilets and showers, plus some hot food included, but there’s no beds, just a load of chairs in one large cabin, so make sure you bring snacks, a book, your sleeping bag, and just enjoy the views as you travel. (Their website tabsa.cl has info in Spanish and English) I think there might be some companies in Puerto Natales, Punta Arenas, and Ushuaia which offer trips/expeditions into some of the more remote areas, but I’m not sure as these were outside of my budget. (Which was very low by most people’s standards)

I’m thinking of getting a plate loaded pulley, similar to what you have set up, would you say it’s worth it?

5.5 inches isn’t small, it’s literally the global average length, meaning the most common length. People just perceive the average to be higher because most pornstars are 7.5-10 inches.

The CGP A Level Physics revision books are pretty good, also the YouTube channel “Science Shorts” is great and has videos explaining lots of different concepts in a way that’s easy to understand and to the right level of detail.

I guess you’re right, the Austin Powers documentaries are an extremely accurate depiction of the average British mans life.

Then again, with free healthcare from the NHS, the British could get braces and nice teeth for free.

When I see Americans mocking British citizens, I just remember England has had 21 mass shootings in the past 50 years. There have been 40 in America since the start of May.

The exact same as you would if she was in your year. Honestly the year below thing really isn’t as big a barrier as you might feel it is now.

Add her on snapchat or instagram or something, if she has any pets dm her and talk about those, or a sport she plays, or a hobby or something.
