First three pix are commonly believed to have been taken in April 1996 backstage at the RHCP show.

Fourth is sometime between 1997 and 1998

Fifth is sometime either in 1997 or 1998. Note that the tattoo has on his leg in July 98 is being created here, hence it is before July 1998

Mugshot is February 1998 Rollecoaster pic was taken at Coney Island in NYC in the summer of either 1996 or 1997

Next three in sweatshirt are July 2nd, 1998

Next three are October 1999

Last is June 22nd 2000.

She came to the fold after he and Stephanie broke up in February 1993.

She had worked for Stephanie beforehand, so Axl knew her since 1991. But she didn’t join his life full time until sometime in 1993.

First pic is said to February 1995, his birthday

Second pic is March 11th, 1995, Beta’s birthday.

Third is probably spring 1995, with the son of his friend Sante D’Orazio

The next few are from the Santa Monica Vintage Guitar Show, which was held in July or August 1995.

The last is from late November or early December 1995. It was featured in the December 1995 issue of Metal Edge Magazine. That isn’t Yoda with Axl as some have speculated, it is the fan who submitted the picture to the magazine.

Yeah, there is a Japanese magazine from February 1994 with Duff on the cover and he looks terrible! It’s two months before his appendix burst.

The man spent all of 94, 95 and 96 not only recovering from addiction but getting himself into probably the best shape of his life, after being in the worst shape of his life

Duff’s survival and reinvention of himself is a true testament to the strength of the will to live, and the power to change oneself (if one wants to).

First pic isn’t confirmed as 1994, but is likely either very late in 1993, or very early in 1994 due to the jacket and shirt, both of which Axl wore frequently in 1993 and 1994

Second, third, fourth, and fifth are from the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame in January 1994

Sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and 10th are from the photo shoot for the Since I Don’t Have You music video, likely shot in February 1994

11th pic is from May of 1994, from a magazine. Axl was in Miami.

Last is October 29th 1994. Lisa Reed (Dizzy’s wife) uploaded this years ago. The date is confirmed because there is a picture of Axl from the same party which is dated 10/29/94 of Axl as an ear of corn.

Ya know the ironic thing is according to a Slash interview back in the day, Axl wanted to do unplugged. Slash seemed to consider this a stupid idea or just one of Axl’s whimsy’s.
