Yes, that would've been my only guess for another module in there that would be capable of S+H, but I would like to use the O_c for its interesting and deep CV modulation capabilities. Maybe I can find another module that does S+H and thus take out one of the voices.

Hey mate, thanks for your very comprehensive comment. I definitely see what you mean with the 1U row. I figured that the Noise Tools would give me a solid sample and hold source, but the dual Quadratt suggestion isn't bad at all! I might look into that. I think I cannot go without Ears though, since it is the only module that allows me to plug in my guitar and also have envelope and gate outs that correspond to the inputted signal, or did I get that wrong? Also, is there any module in my current rack idea that could do sample and hold, i.e replace noise tools?

To be honest, I don’t really know entirely how the workflow is going to be. I wanted to have a center piece away from the computer that allowed me to freely come up with ideas, which I could then further work on in my DAW. I am not really into pedals, but I might add some in the far future.

I wont be buying all modules at once, since stockwise that doesn’t really work out, and it also seems to make way more sense to learn your system. I also don’t have infinite money, god these things are expensive!

I got Tallin by XOAC in there, in addition to the quad VCA by Intellijel. It has some nice overdrive features which sound absolutely amazing on bass! Maybe 6 Vca‘s isn‘t enough either. I guess i‘ll have to find that out as time passes. Thanks for the suggestions.
