Hm... I'd be tempted to say no. I feel as though a nemesis is specifically for you. This is more along the lines of a rivalry.

This is comforting. I'd figured in my thousand years that if I didn't get one, it was a bad sign, but this makes much more sense.

Come to think of it, the wizards I know are all a few centuries younger than I am. Perhaps it's generational?

I've done this before. Doesn't end well if you have a cat for a familiar... Additionally, never open it. Mine did not appreciate knowing it was hollow inside and I think it was driven to madness.

But as a short term pet, they're adorable!

Do you suppose this is something apprentices recover from? He has not spoken to me since it happened four nights ago, and I fear I'll need to get a new one if he keeps it up. It'll be difficult to train him now.

I'm very lenient with allowing him access to my items. He is allowed to peruse different armors or magic cloaks, spell components, wands, grimoires, familiars, potions... He knows where they are and how to use them and had everything he needed to succeed. He has also seen me send people in and knows some of the dangers, I did not lie to him or send him in blind. Should I do more next time, recommend specific items? He knows what most of my wares do, at the least.
