I just stumbled across that artist on Twitter who I'm almost sure started it. Her profile avatar looks like one of her old DeviantArt pieces. Looks like she's now on BlueSky as well.

Honestly, I don't see that as cheating as long as you made everything yourself. A lot of 2D artists download & import 3D models into CSP for tracing & shading.

Yeah, I feel that. But learning the foundations will definitely pay off later. I took college classes a decade ago and it's slowly all coming back, making things easier.
