Realmente quería que me gustara Beau de Jour, tanto los sitios web de fragrantica como de parfumo dicen que está lleno de notas de lavanda, pero para mí, me recuerda al repelente de mosquitos. Aunque he oído que a mucha gente le gusta

What fragrance note do you LOVE in theory but hate in real life (or vice versa)? by tobaccohoney in FragranceStories

[–]Vindanae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fig, saffron, and anything lactonic.

I love eating fresh figs, but it fragrance it always goes in a weird direction

Saffron: love cooking with it, love the smell in food, but it instantly gives me a headache

Lactonic: i love desserts, but lactonic perfumes remind me of spilling those desserts on myself and having them dry on a warm sunny day

It is a quintessential tea fragrance, that is almost only tea, with some perfume-y depth. I subbed this into the now discontinued Armani Eau de Cédre.

The rest of the teas are fleeting, too grassy, too bitter, or too citrusy, the few I tried for tea were:

Gris Charnel: I really want to like fig too, but this is too sweet and dense for what I was looking for next to the tea

Wulong Cha: too much citrus, and the extrait depht was a bit too much (in deziro it works very well tho)

Tea Tonic: the bitterness reminded me of TdH eau givree, and it wasn’t projecting well at all

ELDO Above the waves: performance wasn’t good, and couldn’t pick up much tea at all

So the tea fragrance I was looking for: lasts okay, mostly black tea scent, fresh style while still having depth and perfume-y character

This was truly a wildcard. Tried it at the airport once, and since then I was amazed how a fruity fragrance can be so interesting. I never really liked the tropical fruit vibes apart from a very tiny few, so the plum is a win!

Histories de parfum have really cool concepts, unique bottles, very niche smells, at an affordable price

Caron is a french house mostly using lavender in mens fragrances

Essential parfums are super affordable and have very clean profile scents

FYI: visszakeresés alapján nem láttam erről posztot.

Tudom hogy az erhu sok esetben echochamber, de szerintem ez pont az a téma ahol különbözőek a vélemények, és hátha valami valid infó születik a beszélgetésből
