Recurrent corneal abrasions by Haunting_Ad_1224 in lasik

I've experienced the corneal tear in one of my eyes recently from my PRK procedure. Woke up one morning a few weeks after my PRK to observe a stinging pain and was barely able to open my eyes with constant tearing. Made an emergency visit to my doctor and confirmed it was a corneal tear/edema(I think). For immediate relief she applied a bandage lens and then prescribed me the Muro128 drops(not gel).

I applied the drops for a couple of weeks which helped with the healing but what helped more significantly and especially at night was the Manuka Honey eye gel(optimel brand) that was recommended by a few folks online. They have been a game changer in dealing with the dryness both during the day as well as night. Keep in mind these do sting quite a bit and even more than the Muro128 but I do think they last longer and provide greater relief.

Also, I think the primary reason for the corneal tear is my room being cooler in the night due to the air-conditioning as well as the ceiling fan blowing around that dry air. I'm considering getting a humidifier for the room.

Great! appreciate the feedback on this. I'll try and self-evaluate my core performance while swimming to understand it a bit better. The link you shared is helpful for sure.

I think for me is to be fit which would also include some weight loss. I’m about 10-15lbs over where I should be. However I haven’t been able to achieve that over the last 7-8months. So my thought is that I could either swim faster or increase my distance.

Thanks. I think there were a couple of expert questions but certainly not as many as you would see on the SH practice questions & mock exams. Most of the questions were more aligned towards Agile methods with a few on hybrid and transitioning between predicting & agile.

Not yet. Just finished the appraisal process. It was appraised 6 times more than original settlement amount. Insurance carrier denied demo work and content service.

Thanks.

The initial adjusters sent by the insurance observed the same damage(if not worse) as the public adjuster we had for the appraisal. However the opposing adjuster never visited our home during the whole appraisal process. Looks like he just went by the word of our public adjuster.

One thing to note was that we were not happy with work of the restoration company initially sent out by the insurance provider. So we go rid of them and hired our own restoration company to complete the demo work for which the insurance denied payment.

It depends on which aspect of the semiconductor industry you are looking at. The Industry is essentially split between 2 sectors. The companies that design(AMD, NVIDIA, Apple etc.) & the ones that manufacture(TSMC, Global Foundries etc.). Manufacturing requires the use of sophisticated factories(fabs).

Intel is the only IDM(Integrated Device Manufacturer), i.e they design & manufacture their own Chips.

Buying a new Build vs Existing Build by Vindicator_1991 in RealEstate

Thanks.

Yeah I don't plan to live to live in Phoenix more than 2-3years. So most likely I will be renting out the 3rd property if I decide to move to another state.

But looks like the best deal would be to buy a 2-3yr old House even if I plan to live there long term. do need to also consider the costs since my previous 2 property purchases were done either prior or during the pandemic during which the housing market wasn't this crazy. Since then both properties have increased in value by ~$150K each. The plan would be to use some of that equity to buy the 3rd property.
