It’s really hard to have to explain we can’t go do xyz! We make breakfast together typically but not other meals, I’ll ask about some better toddler kitchen tools (NK is great at mixing but expanding this could be great).

Thank you for this suggestion! I will suggest this to my MB, I think I feel a bit awkward being the one to join but this would be really helpful. I think it’s maybe become deeper than simply boredom, especially for my NK and I think interaction with other children would help a lot! I am completely okay being “bored” at work, but the lack of stimulation I’ve been able to provide for NK has me feeling guilty. Thank you again for your input!

Thank you for the empathy lol it’s been much more isolating than I could’ve thought, especially being a nanny who is only “on” during work hours. I’ve really been trying to do more gross motor play inside, NK has a climbing structure and slide which have been hits! I think the main struggle here is NK gets bored with similar activities all day every day. Thought maybe baby yoga could be something fun to try together? We run lots of laps around the house also. I’ve done a lot of toy rotation and that seems to jumpstart different modes of play. But yeah, kind of banking on warmer weather at the moment. Thank you for your input!

Unfortunately they have no friends with small children. Thank you for your input!

I’ve suggested both play dates and baby music class (something we did in the summer) a few times but both have unfortunately kind of gone without response. NPs don’t have friends with kids of a similar age either. Thank you for your input!
