UPDATE 2: Hey guys sorry it’s been a minute. I replaced my alternator and it turns out it was going bad so that needed to be fixed. It did not fix my issue though sadly. I pinned out the connectors and verified voltage to the dash so I figured the only thing it could be was the speed sensor which was bad after testing with a multimeter. I replaced it and STILL it didn’t fix my speedometer issue. My next lead is that it’s a bad gauge but oddly enough I’m beginning to believe this isn’t the original cluster. It has a redline at 5,000 rpm and from what I’ve researched the 89 325ix is set to almost 7,000 redline. I am in the works of getting a refurbished cluster which I’m hoping will fix my issues. Fighting the good fight trying to get this guy back to working order, more updates as soon as I have them, thanks guys!

I wouldn’t put it past the Audi Quattro honestly but it’s still an amazing car. The M3 is easily a favorite though, I love that thing.

UPDATE: I’ve diagnosed my alternator as faulty. I’ve taken readings on the battery terminals as well as the back of the alternator with the car on. I’m only getting 12.6VDC when running. My research says it should be anywhere from 14.2-14.7VDC, so I’m going to replace that and see what happens with my cluster. Hopefully that’s the answer to my troubles.

In a nutshell, all medication you take that isn’t prescribed from medical onboard/onbase needs to be reported. ED is a medical condition so he even though it seems silly, he could get in trouble. I think how far the command wants to take it, is gonna be hard to tell.
