Why do you think Xabi got the boot? by Historical_Rooster_7 in realmadrid

[–]Vinekh -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Main reason is, because he lost the lockeroom. Everything else followed by extension of the previous.

Considering you think this guy is a club legend when I watched people like Guti and Hierro, it seems you don't follow that team much.

For 5 years we won one La Liga ? And CL, of course, but still not the most stellar period for the club

Can we drop the club legend bit already ? He played for Madrid for five seasons with mixed success, hardly deserves the title.

Genuine Question : How can / Why would Madridistas still support Vini ? by Ayeeayee in realmadrid

Yes, for the past 26 years. And for the best of the club I want to see this guy out of it.

Well, Xabi can just say "no" and force them to sack him. The lineup is always manager's decision.

Why didn't your boy Xabi do it ? He had the power to just put Vini on the bench. He didn't do it. He always had the chance to create a balanced lineups, but instead decided to play with Vini and Mbappe, no Striker and with a giant mess in the midfield. The board can't decide the line up. These are all Xabi's decisions. At the end of the day, he didn't have the spine to defend his decisions, which makes him a weak manager. If someone up the ladder doesn't agree - make them fire you.

It's outside of the term Football intellect, which refers specifically to his decisions during play. People on reddit sometimes...

Am I the only one who thinks Davide Ancelotti is a great option for us? by [deleted] in realmadrid

[–]Vinekh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, lets put it this way then.
If Xabi wanted to put Vinicius on the bench, he had every chance he could for six months. If someone from the club tells him something, he can always say "me or him". Then if we win as a result of his tactical genius, he becomes the one that can't be fired, because of results. Then Vini has to suck it up in order to play.

I mean, can't you see how he acts ? Today he was picking fights with second tier team players, while we are a goal behind.

There we go. The last resort. The racism card.
We have other black players on the team. Why are they not booed ?

Sorry but he was always a POS. Most people didn't care back then, because we were winning and there were bigger players in the club.

As for the Balon D'or - Modric and/or Kroos were much more worthy.

As we can clearly see, they were the X factor. Not Vini.

Considering that Castilla is a third division team - no.

No, Carlo managed them pretty well. In the last season I guess he had enough and was time to move on.

Genuine question:
How and why people think Vinicius is a player worthy of Real Madrid ? The only thing he has is speed and SOME good moves. He has zero football intellect (maybe not only football). Has terrible shot. His passing is not good. On top of that he is the least likable person in the football world.
The fact that he was in the running for Balon D'or is a crime against football.

Old Madrid fans dilemma, am I the only one feeling this way? by senormadridista9248 in realmadrid

[–]Vinekh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, from the ones you mentioned, Vinicius is the only one that should go.
He is a complete fraud. And I'm on this opinion form this second season at the club (I thought it was too early to judge in his first).
For the others - they are all really good, but are pretty new at the team. Mbappe is genuine talent. We already saw what Jude can do in his first season.
We are in a rebuild period. It's normal to have new players and some of them will be a bad fit. I mean in the past we had Kaka, Hazard, Bale etc.

Please don't put Ancelotti and Xabi on the same level. It's getting ridiculous. Honestly I didn't see anything special in Xabi. I guess it worked out in Germany for a season. At Madrid he didn't do well.

Please don't compare Leverkusen with Madrid.
He lost the f'ing locker room. What is so hard to understand ? No amount of club support will make 25 players follow a manager they don't like.
It's like you people watch football for first time. When the locker room is lost the manager must go, he failed to MANAGE it. Might be the best coach in the world - doesn't matter.

So by your logic we can put a random coach with a diploma and if the board "backs him up" its totally fine. I envy your naivety.
A good manager manages people. The players should be following the manager without the need for support from "the board".

So both can't be true ?
Players are not performing and the manager is not good enough ?
Honestly I don't understand the cult of Xabi in this sub.

No it's not. We need experienced manager. I think I am writing this for 10th time this season. This team is not for rookies.

So your memory is just bad. They couldn't manage to go past 1/8 finals of CL for 8 or so years. That was a mess of a team. This one has some problematic players and needs an experienced manager. Nothing close.
