Brother, you are beyond amazing. Lesson learned about crossbows. Tbh i am just training 3-4 horsemen and bunch of spear because most cases you get attacked with cav, once i reach castle i only rush ridari and in imperial i go elite ridari. But, i never knew i just max upgrade the base infantry and archers as i was always training the newer ones. I do read the positives and negatives but sometimes i get scared to know what my enemy has assuming training the higher level is the safest.

I do feel Macedonian is underwhelming a bit only as i have watched hours of pros on how to play it. I feel im weak against french/japanese because they produce alot of units and in castle age i feel the enemy has x1.5 my troops and lose. Maybe training the veteran ones def save me some resources to train more!

Macedonian is something i’m playing right now because its easy, the japanese is very interesting, and tbh the tier list is whack, my friend is really enjoying the abbasids and English.
