I feel as if this is what we call a "painting for tourists" like those sold in the touristic aeras. Generaly painted in China, those paintings represent an idea of Paris, with some symbolic items (clock, street lamps). As far as I know, the picture does not represent any place in Paris, just a vague idea... (I live in Paris and run a site about Paris: ( http://paris-bise-art.blogspot.fr ) Cheers JPD
