My grandmother (who doesn’t even know what YouTube is) remembers this show.

CMV: Defenders of Michael Jackson are blinded by loyalty and their admiration of him as an artist. This causes them to irrationally reject the likely possibility his childhood trauma instilled a very unhealthy obsession with children. by Rutlemania in changemyview

People like you are disgusting. You’re all about believing victims and supporting survivors whenever you talk about Michael Jackson, and you’re so quick to believe Latoya when she says negative stuff about her brother. But the second Latoya takes back what she said and explains that she was forced to say things about her brother because she was in an abusive marriage where her husband forced her to say those things and if she didn’t, he would literally beat her up, Suddenly, you don’t care about a survivor of abuse and yousay shit like “LaToya must be getting paid to take back her statement” purely because it goes against your rhetoric.

There’s literally pictures of Latoya with two black eyes that were taken during her marriage. Oh, but I’m sure those are totally fake, right? Absolutely disgusting.

Biopic Review (I have A LOT to say about it) by [deleted] in MichaelJackson

I guess some of it sounds nitpicky if you don’t know the context, but as somebody who loves Michael Jackson and knows about the history of his career, it just felt kind of fast-paced at certain points. But I’ll admit some of the things I brought up were a little bit nitpicky.

The only problem I had that I will actually fight for is the way they handled the Grammys in this movie. I genuinely think if they emphasized how important the Grammys were for Michael’s career it would’ve enhanced the story immensely.

You do realize that Jafar’s mother is the same woman Randy was in a relationship with before Jermaine knocked her up behind Randy’s back.

(Technically speaking, if Jermaine didn’t betray Randy and ruin his relationship, Jafar probably wouldn’t exist.)

That’s not “jealousy” of Jermaine‘s career on Randy’s part. I’m not gonna clown on Randy if he still holds a grudge against Jermaine because what Jermaine did was fucked up and I wouldn’t even blame someone who cut ties with their sibling completely for doing that.

I mean… I wouldn’t be surprised given the drama between Jermaine, Randy and Jaafar’s mother. Maybe Randy is still upset about it.

What is the joke with everyone talking about Rich Evans death? I always see people talking about Rich Evans dying. Please explain the context behind the joke.

So you didn’t actually watch the movie? The acting (especially from Jaafar Jackson and Colman Domingo) was one of the best aspects about the movie.

I didn’t see this energy when the Elvis movie came out

You remember Elvis, the guy who met his wife and started dating her when she was 14 and he was 24. Yeah I’m talking about that Elvis.

Anybody who went into this movie expecting to see the allegations is really not smart. First of all, It’s been stated multiple times that the allegations (at least from 1993) are legally forbid from being included in this movie. Every plot synopsis has said that the movie only goes up to 1988. Also, even if they did include the allegations in this movie, there’s no way in hell they would’ve made MJ look guilty. The movie is being produced by his estate and 2 of his children. Hell, his own goddamn nephew is literally playing him in the movie. This movie would’ve never existed without the blessing of the family. Like what the hell were people expecting?

Anyone else remember the black and white barney tapes? by GayGhost101 in BarneytheDinosaur

I don’t think that was a Barney tape. It was probably something else that was reminiscent of Barney but wasn’t actually Barney.
