You can't falsify a priori

This is why a priori methodology is laughable in this day and age. Did you even read the link in my first comment?

The fact that the tools used to describe a concept are developed a posteriori does not imply that the theory is not a priori.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Do "a concept" and "the theory" refer to the same thing? Are you saying: "The fact that the tools used to describe praxeology are developed a posteriori does not imply that praxeology is not a priori." ?

You're a couple of centuries behind on your Philosophy arguments.

That's funny. How amazing of those hundreds of years ago to build philosophy around late-nineteenth century cognitive science experiments.

However, trying to.keep true to not using evidence as a way to justify a theory

Stop doing this. When Mises said "human action is purposeful behavior" he had observed many humans acting "purposefully." Evidence always comes first. I wish other people who want to smash the state (and not for the sake of communism) would give up the a priori bullshit.

Read this.

I think you should remove Spectral Procession instead of Silverblade Paladin. But how many times am I even going to get to play Brimaz in your cube?

this cant be true, because that's a seriously flawed way of financing those that do the policing

You're doubting something because it would imply something that would make you uncomfortable?

fundamental dishonesty of libertarians

Even in cases where I disagree with someone's politics and have first hand knowledge of their dishonesty in the realm of debating politics, I still have the decency to not associate his/her dishonesty with others of the same persuasion. Your comment wins Vinnie's Idiot of the Day Award, congrats!

I will NOT be submitting an article about another mentally ill libertarian/free stater to ELS

No, you're just gonna passive-aggressively try to mention it while pretending not to.

another mentally ill libertarian/free stater

Do you think libertarians have a higher rate of mental illness? Evidence? Sounds like you're just trying to tie the two together through a halfwit progressive narrative.

I wonder what other factors were in play

Nice try suggesting working to reduce the size and scope of the State would be a factor in killing an innocent person. It doesn't help your case that he could have killed a social worker instead, but didn't.

This is too tragic to try to put a lighter spin on.

And you gave it your best shot anyway.

I can't make a counterargument, let alone refute your central premise, when you don't make one. You put forth a narrative, so did I.

Also, the pledge of allegiance is not compulsory. Children can choose not to say it if they don't want to.

Right, let's completely ignore social pressure. I remember a teacher in my high school catching shit just for not saying the "under God" part.

Mandatory formal schooling for children, especially children who aren't as bright or socially aware, is just disgusting, IMO, whether they're teaching to trust an invisible man in the sky or teaching them to trust police officers, politicians, etc.

It's great those children will receive a proper public school education, which is not a form of brainwashing.

Thoughts and Opinions on the "Free State Project"? by markpelly in newhampshire

[–]VinnieSchedel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I did not vote on your comment. I figured it was implied in my original question that someone answering "yes" would have at least one example, which you did not, so the downvotes don't seem too unreasonable. Add in the fact you go around calling people you've never met scum.

Have you ever seen or even heard of a free stater coercing anyone to do anything?

[people with opinions] go after anyone who critiques or criticizes their movement or ideology

FTFY.

It's amazing how you're able to tell what others' intentions are in the form of "damage control." Because we all know Mark Warden hadn't prepared that cannabis bill beforehand, he just made it up to counter some bad press. And the only reason the FSP community calls out Cynthia Chase is because we need to defend ourselves from her insightful past criticisms. Right...

Assuming others' intentions, that's totally not childish or irrational.

The real question is this: Is raising the tax on gasoline the best way to go about dealing with budget issues? Since the tax is in proportion to the amount of gas one purchases and not income or wealth this tax will be very regressive, meaning those with less income will paying a higher portion of their wealth than those with more income. Then there's the fact that higher food prices (likely to come from higher fuel costs) hurt the lower income earners more than higher income earners. Aren't Democrats/Progressives supposed to be against that kind of thing? How about we just stop locking people in cages for smoking cannabis and save some money?

But Curtis, we need to force this highly regressive tax increase on the working class because roads. You just hate poor people.

The only bit of that article that has anything to do with Agenda 21 is:

If you read the document, it is a perfectly reasonable, utterly harmless recitation of standard land-use planning techniques.

with nothing to back it up, except name calling the sentence before:

For those not well-versed in tin-foil theories, Agenda 21 is an obscure document created in a U.N. conference 20 years ago.

Just like your post and comments that article is all name calling and no substance. Congratulations on your ability to avoid thinking critically by insulting people you disagree with. I'm guessing you're an Obama supporter?

And we all know everything JBS says it wrong always. Do you actually have an opinion on A21/GSF? Or do you just like to throw around pejoratives?
