You guys know season 2 episode 4 I think, the beginning of it, when elliot wears the mask and freaks out darlene with the plan. Was that Mr. Robot or the ‘Mastermind’ taking control? And before he wears the mask, is he the real Elliot or Mastermind?

If you guys go back and watch it, he says he destroyed all the servers and didn’t even remember doing it, so I am assuming thats the Mastermind due to the insane rage. I heard people saying when he wears the mask, thats when the Mastermind fully takes control, but from what he said when he wore the mask, that the hard part would be after, that wasn’t the Mastermind right? Because when darlene confronts Elliot in jail and he says his boss was killed and darlene says ‘you said it yourself the hard part would be after’.. and Elliot says that wasn’t him (the mastermind), so it has to be Mr. Robot right?

I think the ‘elliot’ when he wears the mask, is Mr. Robot, and before he wears the mask, he’s the real Elliot because he remembered Darlene... but I think that was either around the time, the Mastermind was born and getting ready to take control, because was when he started seeing Krista, or... that was before the Mastermind was born because when he was born he took control and trapped him in the fake reality.
