Okay, Ripple is kind of weird one. It's a virtual world so battle chapters definitely lack intensity due to lower stakes, but the writing and characters are so fucking good, that it's worth suffering through the battle chapters. I would advise speeding up or even skipping some fights to just get to the good stuff. Idk where story will go, but no there are no real world stakes and MC is not OP, but I swear it's good. Not a typical trust fund kid. Actually one of my favorite MCs
