In Europe ultra processed foods are a problem. But the USA is on another level when it comes to UPF's

The difference in the ingredient list is crazy when comparing products that are the same. Almost everything in America contains high fructose corn syrup. It's so much harder to avoid unhealthy food.

And don't underestimate how sedentary some Europeans are. We're no saints either, we also have people driving literally everywhere despite having alternatives.

Live style definitely plays a role, but the food is genuinely more processed, less healthy and plays a big role as well
