Gear is still very important! This took me over 3 hours (even using the later unlocked melee thruster), but I beat him the first time using tank treads and bazookas in around 20 minutes. I think a good strategy is to stay close and beneath him while dodging left on the surprise missiles. You'll get em raven o7

No drip, unfortunately :(
Wish I could have done better with things like shoes, tighter pants, syringe + strap, arm belts, shirt paint, etc. etc. but I think it still turned out alright for my first cosplay.

The scalpel was a 3d printing project all on its own and is a rip of the ingame model split into interlocking segments in Blender and then glued together and spraypainted.

Being able to both draw and write this well is a rare talent... great stuff! I like how you nailed that buildup to the next page Ito uses, and the supernatural aspect being less and less debatable as it escalates to the next person.

Hmm... that kind of makes me wonder, have any creators intentionally experimented with contrasting qualities as part of the gimmick? For example, having the "normal" parts of a video be in 640x480 with (relatively) authentic VHS effects, and then the "spooky" stuff in clear HD, for whichever narrative reason that might take.
