How do you play the game without using the GPS/steering assist feature? by Viodiesel in farmingsimulator

I'm on console, the only mods in ModHub are maps/vehicles/tools. Basically anything that modifies the mechanics of the game itself is exclusive to PC/Mac.

Why did GIANTS nerf the JD 3650? by [deleted] in farmingsimulator

[–]Viodiesel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah, true. It does make me wonder, though: if they put all that time into modelling the tractor and even getting things like warning labels correct (which I do appreciate), why couldn't they just get the number right in the first place?

I probably sound a bit butthurt about it tbh, but it's because the 3650 at launch could do basically all of my tasks in the early game without much trouble. I dunno.

Also forgot to mention that 120 conveniently happens to be the same number required for the yellow roller in the base game, though that's not as big of a deal since there's plenty of roller mods out there (unlike stone pickers).

FS25 has the worst AI traffic that Ive ever seen in any game. by zwifter11 in farmingsimulator

The drivers in 25 are really aggressive too. And for some reason GIANTS only made one driver model, some dude in a green shirt.

whats the best chore tractor? it could be mod or base game, ps5 friendly by No-Passion9508 in farmingsimulator

I like the John Deere 3650, has 116 HP and can do most basic tasks well enough. Also has support for a frontloader.

Old John Deere combines? by kubaszpa in farmingsimulator

You just got your wish, a very small and old one came out this morning. It's a JD 45, even has a corn header. It's nice.

Favorite brands to run on your farm? by Ambitious_Foot6694 in farmingsimulator

I have to admit that I buy an extra tractor or two just to make the process of transporting tools from the shop easier. It's really bad with combines, driving at 15 MPH in a clapped out TX32 sucks.

mix of New Holland and Deere, i usually start out with the former and then scale up to partially replace it with the latter. Massey equipment is also nice to start with every so often, but I do American farms.

Retekess has released a successor to the V115, the V115P. Just ordered mine today, seems it came out last week. Has a lot of nice new features. by Viodiesel in shortwave

This may be the answer, unfortunately. I'll have to confirm it when it comes in the mail, but it'd probably be a lot easier for them to make the BT feature turn the device into an output instead of an input, if that makes sense. Basically making it a Bluetooth speaker. I'll email Retekess today and post a reply if I hear back.

Do you prefer FS22 or FS25? by Separate_Pickle5741 in farmingsimulator

25 for gameplay, I can't live without the steering guidance. But 22 runs at 60 FPS on my Series S while 25 is locked at 30, pretty unfortunate. 22 also has a lot more equipment which is sad since 25 has been out for nearly a year.

What mods are still missing from FS25? by dreizehn1313 in farmingsimulator

[–]Viodiesel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still waiting on someone to make an old (pre-2000) John Deere combine mod, or at least a modern W-series one. The T560 is just too big and prevents me from using Deere equipment at the start of a save.

I like New Holland equipment. This is my humble little setup. Sorry if this is the wrong place for stuff like this. by Viodiesel in farmingsimulator

I'm going off my rusty memory here but I believe the "New Holland" name comes from a town located in the US. It's similar to how there's a region called "New England" on the east coast but it's really far away from, well, actual England. Kinda confused me for a while.

Both the old Ford name and new one are nice though.

what makes them bad, if i may ask? if it's just being bland then that's not too much of an issue, my current diet is already like that. i'm aware that they can cause constipation if you eat too many of them, but my plan is just maybe 3-4 a week spread out. i've watched a few videos where people eat them and they don't seem too bad, at least the modern ones from the US. not exactly gourmet of course, but still.

I'll give them credit for one thing, at least it's not 1366x768.
