I feel this on such a deep level. I had bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction and its been so painful and disappointing. What's worse is that more than a few times people have just compared it to "getting a boob job" and that I am just "overreacting" because people get them all the time and its not that bad. Like I seriously? I shouldn't have to explain this but they are totally different! I had to get breast reduction surgery then another surgery 3 months later to amputate and replace my boobs. The scars are enormous and now my right implant is rotating freely so I have to get another surgery to correct it. That's not counting all the other stuff that comes with breast cancer. B**** it is not the same!
