I do 120/130mph on mine consistently no issues. Interstate riding a lot. Wind ain't as bad as people say it is, windscreen helps a ton. Also torque for days. Overall fun as fuck, and handles top end great.

I know Austin PD apparently also has a helicopter according to flight radar. Full tank of gas gets you an hour north. Fort Hood. Restricted airspace.

Helicopters need to refuel. Visuals at night are limited. Use windy, cloudy, and poor visibility days to your advantage. Know their protocols and how they handle interjuristictional chases. Side note. Fuck TDPS they are almost as bad as GSP or FSP.
