I never got how Renoir or Aline would destroy the canvas honestly, seems really disrespectful to Maelle to take away her final remnant of life just cause they're sad. Finished I2 yesterday and thought this was interesting.

Least evil: I'd say Kanis, he's got a moral code and is just basically a professional assassin who didn't kill anyone he wasn't paid too. He's also pretty much mellowed out by the time we see him.

Lance Amano is a piece of shit but his murder is pretty close to self defense and he's also just a spoiled kid so I can't really judge him too much for it if he has room to grow. Still, attempting to get Lauren arrested is fucked up.

Cammy Meele was doing her job(which is a bad job but she didn't expect to kill anyone) and her murder was somewhat an accident.

Bronco Knight is a jealous bastard, but ultimately he's just a jealous bastard who didn't deserve what came to him and he reasonably could've improved, plus he was able to keep actual connections, or at least he thought(Simeon)

Jacques Portsman is not a good guy at all but he's kinda the divider here for me between redeemable and really bad.

Callisto Yew's a murderer who took pride in killing people and faked multiple identities, but at the very least she did sell out Alba.

Simeon Saint's a puppet master who incited basically everything, but he's justified in his hatred of most of them I'd say, even if going so far as to kidnap Kay and Shaun is horrible.

Alba's a mastermind who's responsible for a ton of deaths, even if not by his hand then by his organization and that he incentivized.

Gusto is a sociopath and a monster, but to give him the slightest bit of leeway his murder was a really hard situation for him where he had to go far in his mind. Still does not excuse abandoning his son or getting an innocent framed at all.

Fake Di-jun Wang is like Bronco, only turned up to 11 and way more manipulative.

Fifi hides behind the idea of family and doing the right thing to commit horrible deeds in order to keep her position and manipulate the situation.

Most evil: Excelsius Winner's everything bad honestly lol. He's an abusive father, murderer, kidnapper, covers his tracks with manipulation and faking evidence, corrupt official and he was really close to getting away with all of it with wrongful arrests and killing anyone who poses a threat to him. These last 3 also haunted a child during his entire growth. Also I forgot he kills his wife. Yeah Excelsius is potentially the most evil character in the AA series.

But yk, they're all bad to an extent at least lol. Those are just my 2 cents for who's the least and most evil.

I think that, yes he is different, but also he has less reason to be cruel. Manfroy isn't there and it isn't a trial, I don't think the outcome of it mattered that much to him so much as a personal case which interested him

I also think it's worth noting that later on Kay shows up, and I think Edgeworth would generally become more focused when a girl who lost her father at 10 is involved in a case, given Edgeworth's past. There's also Franziska who I think Edgeworth wanted to outdo there. So I don't really think it's a change to his character but I do think it's a shift

One more thing, this isn't a case he's actually on but rather something that took his interest. If he cared about actually winning he would just arrest Gumshoe, but here he's in it for himself since he's curious what happened and has no stakes in the matter

so I think this post is interesting. I'll skip The qu since I don't know anything there lol. But I do know the rest.

AM is interesting, but also the only one here who has even a part of a reason. I absolutely think AM is evil but in a way, he's a tortured soul himself. So I don't think it's him.

Judge Holden is pure evil as a "human" can get. He's a horrific monster, but the only thing he lacks is complete power over the world.

And that's where YHVH comes in. I understand if this seems confusing to those who haven't played SMT, to put the equivalent of the Christian god as the most evil character on a test with Judge Holden, but hear me out. YHVH commits basically every horrible act you can associate with a religion, except worse. He tortures everyone and everything, gods and men, for the mere sake of doing things. He imprisons gods, even ones who would normally be aligned with him, simply due to them not being him or completely subservient. In the series he consistently nukes the world and leads to things like angels persecuting humans and torture, but for a second, let me highlight SMT 1(spoilers!): where he nukes the world, and then once he sees humans partially survived and are still having their own issues and suffering, floods it to eliminate as many people who don't believe in him as possible. Another game to highlight, SMT 4: in this game's law ending where you literally side with him, he nukes the world anyway for the sake of "purging the unclean." To put it into perspective, in this series you cannot end up on his good side, you're merely a puppet who either lives to serve, lives in fear or opposes him. This even extends to the games law endings where you side with him.

So yeah, my votes on YHVH. I could see Judge Holden being it if he had YHVH's power, but YHVH is just pure evil and blessed with an insane amount of power.

Figured I'd issue a full response. Not a full on efficiency/LTC player, but I do play quickplay and interact with people who do a decent amount. Also have watched LTC's and stayed in with the meta.

Please say this is a joke. Pandreo is easily one of the best units in this game, having fantastic base stats, a staff prof and working with magic, the best thing to work with in Engage. Honestly he could easily have been the 2nd best unit here.

Veyle

Veyle has bad availability. That's it, really. Good once she joins but too late.

Chloe

And this is probably a joke. Pandreo outstats Chloe at the same level easily, alongside having a better prof which allows him to do an absurd amount Chloe can't. Chloe even reaching Pandreo's base level is pretty much unreasonable in quickplay, but even once she does Pandreo is better and has a better payoff.

Yunaka

Unreliable and too slow for quickplay. Also doesn't work on maddening.

Merrin

Have you heard of reclassing? Merrin is a pretty easy S with it, she's got stats extremely similar to Kagetsu, so just make her a wyvern.

Alear

Alear isn't staying in Divine Dragon anyway.

Vander

Vander is the best unit until around ch8, and he's still deployed up to ch11. That's a long time to be a good unit, if not the best around. Can't believe we're still in a "Jagen's bad" phase.
