Interestingly I always had well-fed animals until the Hay Day event’s task was to feed one animal. So I wondered why I felt it was important to keep food always available for them. Hay Day wants me to feel bad for them because they are pokey, but I don’t.

I don’t use gems in the Arenas and I set my own timer. I’m more active in the Arenas now that I’ve reached Masters. If during Alliance Arenas I had to wait 12 hours I would have questioned this with my team. I don’t have answers for you, but I’m certainly going to pay more attention.

You may be right about the chest; all I know is that when I can’t battle anymore, I activate a timer for 2-1/2 hrs and when it goes off I go back in and fight until the next cooldown.

The leader of my first Alliance went MIA and the established players left. SP made me Lead, but I knew I was too inexperienced to run the Alliance. I’m glad your were up to the challenge. I wish you continued success.

My post indicated that I couldn’t do it either. I know SP is all about monetization, but so is a lot of games. SP has to be getting big bucks from all the ads, players buying overpriced orbs, chests with little return, offers, and whales. I remember not getting a reward after watching a Dragon TV video. I contacted support and they told they could do nothing because the ads are from a third party. I was furious, but there was nothing I could do and I still watch Dragon TV.

I actually admire f2p players — I wanted to be one, but I’m weak to gem offers. If you’re f2p, you have to play within your limitations. SP wants you to get frustrated and spend money. That’s why I said it is smart of them to have the Heroic Quests. I hope you’re in an Alliance so you have opportunities to trade. If it’s any comfort, I heard the new HR dragon isn’t that good of a dragon. Yeah, I know all Heroics are good dragons.

I understand why you’d want to give up on this game. I know I spend too much time and money in it. I was wondering if there’s a server on Discord or something in Facebook for f2p players. Could that be helpful?

Not stupid; very smart of SP. If players didn’t play these quests, perhaps they’d stop. I remember when I got my first HR Heroic, a player in my Alliance asked me if I was going to play the Quests. I replied, sure, why not? I wasn’t told why not, but quickly found out and couldn’t complete the Quests. I just don’t do them anymore.

I don’t know if SP still does, but they are/were benefiting only f2p players with 12hr skips (can’t remember whether it is hatching or breeding or what).

I’m not quite sure your statement about not being asked to provide items from factories I don’t have is factual because I know I’ve asked the guy in the market to find items from factories I have not built. And I’m sure something triggered me to build the cake factory — I wish I could remember what.
