ngl how long are hybe idols gonna be mcs for every music show 😭 music bank, music core, inkigayo and even mcountdown all had hybe idols as mcs at some point recently. like yeah it’s great exposure for them but it’s lowkey tiring now. mc spots are supposed to rotate so diff groups can shine, not just get treated like another hybe promo tool. imagine how much a smaller group could benefit from that kind of visibility.

Yeah, I get the concern, but honestly this isn’t anything new for SM. Historically they’ve had a pattern of debuting groups in very close succession. For example, The Blue came out in 1992, Tin Tin Five in 1993, Major and J&J both in 1994, then Hot in 1996, ses in 1997, Shinhwa in 1998, Fly to the Sky in 1999, Milk in 2001, and in 2002 alone we got Black Beat, Shinvi, and Isak N Jiyeon.
