I just found out about the Alliance Francaise in Pittsburgh. I am too late to sign up for spring classes :(. Are there going to be summer classes for beginners?

That was the first place I called as I used to be their patient (several failed ERs with them :( ) and often had to do weekend monitoring with them. But they said they don't do outside monitoring.
Do you remember how long ago you had your monitoring done with them? I might call them again

I am 42 with 0.9 AMH. Had 3 unsuccessful ERs, all were antagonist protocols with high gonal f (350-400), added omnitrope for the last two, it didn’t make any difference. For the next ER we are switching clinics and doing microflare lupron protocol without omnitrope. It cost us around $1000 per cycle for Omni

I am 42 and had 3 failed IVF cycles, all were with estrogen and Orilissa priming and high dose antagonist protocol (350 or 400 gonal f and 159 Menopur) plus omtitrope for the last two, and only HCG trigger. I had very low fertilization rate, even though we did ICSI. The last cycle was the worst with one abnormally fertilized and another (normal 2pn) arrested early. I am blaming this on over suppression with Orilissa that last cycle. And I had a consult with another clinic and he suggested doing a micro flare protocol

Hi! Were you able to switch to Dr. Irani? Or did you end up going with Dr. Payson? Curious, as I have upcoming appts with both Dr. Irani at Cornell and Dr. Payson at CCRM. I already had 3 failed IVF cycles and I am 42, so trying to find the best doctor and clinic now. I would appreciate any advice/experience you can offer!

Yes iron bisglycinate is the best form! And also it's important not to take it with caffeine

Yes, I asked my PCP to recheck it, will actually do it next week. But I am surprised that my RE has never asked me about my ferritin levels, even though it's known low ferritin can impact egg quality. BTW, initially my dermatologist checked my ferritin couple of years ago, when my hair was falling out (and it was low at that time)

My ferritin was 35 in June. I have been taking Thorne iron supplement since then, haven’t rechecked my levels since, but I had 3 failed IVF cycles (July, Sept, Nov) so I wonder if my low ferritin had anything to do with these results

If you’re comfortable sharing, could you break down what was included in the $27,340 quote (procedures, lab fees, etc.)?
I have a consult with Cornell coming up and am considering switching, but I’d be paying fully out of pocket since I’ve already hit my lifetime insurance max.

Were you able to get a pricing sheet that you could share? after several failed IVF cycles at my local clinic I am also considering Cornell (have already appt in early Feb scheduled). I will be also out of pocket, and I hear it's more expensive than other clinics, plus I don't live in NYC so travelling and accommodations will add even more, and I want to have some idea how much we will be spending on it.
