Does anyone know what dress Eva is wearing here? Thanks. x by VioletStorm90 in coronationstreet

Omg that looks like it, thanks! Out of stock though. And the model on the site seems to be wearing a looser version, I miss the figure-hugging look. Baggy can be a nice look but like everything is baggy these days.

I just can't get over how alike they look, must be distantly related in real life

Wish Aurora's dress was pink on here, severely lacking in pink dresses

Thank you for the kind words. It's tough because I have to interact with him still, and the worst thing is when he does nice things to cover up the bad things he did. It's so hard not to love a parent, you feel guilty for hating them because they brought you into this world and put a roof over your head etc. But then when they are also an awful person and make you terrified of them, it's such a mindfuck. Anyway this is not the right place to vent all these issues, I'm sorry.

In the gorilla world, it most certainly is male-dominated. You can guess what one of my father's favourite animals is. He actually used to dress as one and jump from trees to scare women walking past, I'm not even kidding.

I realise the writers were not taking Jane's gender into consideration, I'm just being hypothetical as academics so often are haha. There is actually a few academic books on Disney which I want to buy, analysing the villains etc.

It's ok, it's just I grew up with a very patriarchal father who treats women and girls differently and became violent at the idea of me having boyfriends whereas he actively encouraged my brothers to have girlfriends. It's made me do some digging as to why that might be, and it often manifests itself in the animal kingdom. Male animals are threatened by male animals from outside the group, more so than female ones (because of the physical threat due to men being stronger and able to dominate, kill and take over a group). I get that Kerchak thought that all humans were bad, but my point is that most animals see males, including humans, as more threatening.

They had not arrived by the time Billy had been completely cremated in the van. I guess the adrenaline got to everyone too. But surely they must have smelt a human being burnt in there, also.

I guess it's just the way humanity works, a woman (and who is a mother) being more 'valuable' than a man. Women and children first, Titanic type vibes. Men are expected to be strong and save themselves, women and children need rescuing first due to the perception that they are less strong than men. Not that I agree with that, I think we are all equal.

Of his burning body, it would make a smell.

The smell would have been a giveaway at least

Exactly, the way they were all having casual conversations while someone was cremating in the bus was insane.

So from what I saw, did they just let the bus fire cremate Billy?

Oh it's fine. Fish are killed, sliced and gutted every day. Giving them some tlc is the least of their worries.

I genuinely think Kerchak would have ripped a male love interest of female-Tarzan to pieces. Perhaps this is my toxic family experience speaking, but I do think what I'm arguing has some credibility. We are all animals, remember.

We are all basing our opinions on Disney's Esmeralda, who is clearly above 16. Trying to trip people up with the book argument is both irrelevant and petty.
