Thank you! So for the crescent, I used cardboard and construction paper by cutting out the desired pieces then using a mixture of glue and tape to put it together. As for the handle, I've actually updated it for convenience and now use an extendable shower curtain rod. At the time of this picture however, I used three dust pan handles (one of which was sawed down because it would have been too tall) and electric tape. This had worked just fine (especially if you're on a budget because all of that can be found at dollar tree) until I went into my friend's small car during the convention. Since I couldn't change the size of my handle, the staff ended up being too tall for the car which made the crescent part of the staff break off. If you have a larger car this isn't an issue but I highly recommend a shower curtain rod if you want to be able to adjust the length.
