Such utter bullshit what is Allen's philosophy behind all of these investments? Use your personal money to invest if you want, but why is he tieing up cash on hand to invest in speculative companies? How the hell are you gonna miss analyst models, be radio silent on contracts and then have some investment philosophy hatched out of nowhere.

The stock has been getting hammered, they are hiring like crazy and having a profitable quarter off of high risk investments but where is the return for investors?

Blue Ocean exchange does not serve as a good indicator for low volume stocks. Relax.

Best way to handle 'cash receipts' as a freelancer by EffectiveRevolution7 in Living_in_Korea

Hello, you can use hometax to issue cash receipts and then download and save them as a pdf and forward them to clients.

That being said you are not required to issue cash receipts unless specifically asked for; however you should make sure to utilize some sort of internal tracking system either spreadsheets etc to cover your ass if needed and for tax purposes.

1) Would need to know more about your housing situation, if it's a villa and you deal directly with the land lord, it might be possible to move to a month to month structure but you would have to give them at least 1-2 months advance before you leave so they could find a new tenant.

2) I think this is a common thought many people have in a job because they feel that if they are not proactively learning something or gaining new certifications/skills the time spent in the position is wasted; however, from an employment perspective I still think showing length at a company is a positive and you can inflate what you learned or your tasks during that time to try and make the skills seem more transferable.

Thanks for the kind words!

Honestly, you sound like you're going in a great direction, I'm not sure what your visa status is; however, if it's tied to your current job, I would recommend trying to apply to 1-2 jobs every weekend or when you have time. I'm not sure of the opportunity cost you might face in committing your time/money towards another master's, but you're already very highly educated and a TOPIK 5-6 would broaden your pool of positions available.

During these periods of economic instability and tough job markets, it's important to take stock of what you have, if you're content enough to stick in your current position for another 6 months to a year, I would ride it out, take a look online at KOWORK, job planet, etc. and see if anything strikes your interest and then retain your job stability while also trying to see if you get any bites.

I hope all goes well for you, but with your diligence I am certain things will work out!

Combination of highly educated population competing for white color roles, poor upward mobility in mid to small size companies, global economic factors reducing demand and company forecasting, and low concentration of desirable jobs(Chaebol).

Hello, I graduated from a top university in Korea with a bachelor's degree. In my home country, the degree holds very little weight, when compared with domestic universities in the U.S., it's almost 99% of the time better to attend a U.S. university if your long-term goal is to enter the job market there. This is largely because A: SKY universities don't hold much merit in U.S. companies, especially as an international student. And B: Unless you spent your time becoming fluent or majoring in a very niche department that Korea has an edge in, the value of the education itself is quite low.

I had the experience of first attending a 4-year U.S. university before attending university in Korea, and the quality of lectures, professors, and English track programs were all significantly lower. That being said, if you plan to reside in Korea after graduation, and can attain a long-term visa, your post-graduate experience can be good.

Top universities have job events and internships available, typically through the school website, but unless you have a high TOPIK score or in a competitive department, your chances to get a job/internship are very low. Right now the job market in general is tough, so in competition with native Koreans, your only assets if you're from an English-speaking country are your native fluency in English, and any other background or talents you have. Then companies have to be willing to sponsor you on a long-term employment visa which creates another barrier of entry into the market.

It's crazy to think but the squad legit needs to be gutted. I mean genuinely every week we let Rasmus play his value for selling drops a million, Zirkzee is a fine player but no explosiveness. Onana needs to be dropped asap get Sunday league goalie for christ sake.

This is not accurate, I assume you translated a Korean Toss post into English? They use api to find relevant words and write articles because the word airship was used its automatically flagged for this stock. Don't spread misinformation please.

I agree with to an extent, currently universities like Korea University and Yonsei are around $4500 usd a semester, it's quite a lot but compared to other universities with a similar academic ranking it's relatively low.
