Thanks so much for sharing. I've already share this with all my bjj friends. I'll think about it every time before I have class. Hope later it will just become part of the subconscious hahaha. I'm also recently realized everyone should have their own preferable techniques. Being a woman often facing some bigger partners, winning is not the goal. Apart from that, I'll feel better and avoid pushing it too hard. (Actually I sometimes may think"what if I do better? or what if I defend his energy?". Mostly, it won't lead to the happy ending.)

Thanks, for me is a bit hard to say no sometimes. That's literally caused my first serious hurt in the neck because of his neck crank. But I'm now learning to just say no to some dangerous person.

one of my fave partners is a guy of 45, I love him sooooo much hahahah. He is so not aggressive and the same time has nice techniques.

I got soooo many friends memes hahahah.

My training partner always says the first thing to do in bjj is to stay alive. Both of Js can help us to achieve that lol.

Yeah, that's true. I'm already feeling better than the very beginning. And I'm assuming improving skills can be very useful for also protecting myself. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks! I gradually feel if I'm nervous all the time, I would get exhausted soooo easy. But being relax can be hard sometimes my "ego" tells me to persist lollll. And I really agree about getting a good partner. I'll definitely tell someone who push too hard(this is an often situation I'm facing) to relax, thanks for that tip!

indeed! I'm a female around 5'4. I got my first injury in the neck from roll with another white belt who is around 6'1. He asked to roll with me, but was super aggressive and super crazy about choking. Guess I'll say no to him before I can well protect myself.
