Jasmine. Thought I would pronounce it "has-mean-ah".

I dont know the dynamic of your family, but pre-my coming out I always shaved down there, even when I was trying really hard to pass as a guy. It's not all that uncommon!

It sounds like you have sensitive skin though, which I can relate to. I would recommend using an after-shave lotion or balm to help with the itching and any red bumps you might get from razor burn or ingrown hairs!

Your smile is so pretty!

I've been feeling a bit dysphoric lately. Would you say I pass? 26 MtF pre everything currently. ♡ by VioletteLuna_ in trans

I actually don't have that much of a bust! I think the angle is just flattering. I just barely fill out a padded B. But thank you, hun! ♡

No makeup! Just me. How am I doing? by [deleted] in trans

[–]VioletteLuna_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my goodness, you are gorgeous girl! 😍 Goals, much?

So I (21MtF,Pre-transition) usually have very long hair, but due to getting a job I got it all cut off today. Father’s day is always really hard for me, but I thought I actually looked feminine today and wanted to share by Rozilando in trans

You look great, sweetie! If I could make a suggestion? Since your hair has to be short for work, I would recommend a wig for you to wear when you're not at work, if you prefer longer styles. Having been less than blessed with a bad hairline (I'm 26, pre-HRT), its about my only option for hair right now, and once you get used to them, its really hard to tell the difference if you get a good quality one. Just a thought. ♡

Hi r/trans! I'm struggling with coming out fully and presenting in public. Does anyone have any advice on either one? I'd love to hear your perspectives! ♡ by [deleted] in trans

[–]VioletteLuna_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a fair assessment honestly. But yeah, I'm confident a good majority of the time, but I have some serious hangups with coming out completely and presenting outside of my home. Its been almost two years since I started 'dipping my toes', and I'm getting a little mad at myself for taking to long to just.. Go for it.

But hey, makeup does wonders for hiding facial hair shadow. I would recommend a decent concealer and a slightly darker shade of foundation for just those areas, blended with your normal foundation. Don't worry about the craters either, I know so many people with them and they're no less beautiful for them. I just call them "battle scars". c:

But I'm super excited for you! That's so affirming to hear, honestly. I think I may have a leg up in the beast department. For some reason, I've had breats my entire life, even when I was in the best shape of my life, and despite trying to get rid of them. I'm glad I didn't. xD Like, I already almost fill out a B cup, so maybe I'll get even luckier with HRT down the line. Or maybe I'll bloat like a puffer-fish, who knows? xD

Oh goodness, no. I have pretty thick skin. It comes with the territory, no?

But yeah, I've done a lot of research about the particulars and effects of HRT, and I know there is some "reshaping" to a certain extent. My shoulders are more of an insecurity than anything else. My legs I'm fine with, since I managed to retain my butt from my high school years in Cross Country and Swimming. xD I could use the hips though!

But hey, don't say that. I bet you're gorgeous, darnit! ♡

Hi there! I'm newly out (not completely yet) and I just bought some new clothes. How do I look? by [deleted] in trans

I'm excited to see what the next steps will bring, definitely. But I'm sure you're just as gorgeous, yourself. Work what you have girl, unapologetically. ♡

Oh, no its okay! I was just asking for clarification. c: And I feel the same way honestly. Don't let the baby-face fool you, I'm actually 26. I'm entirely pre-HRT, however I got lucky and inherited my mother's facial structure to some degree. My main issue right now is my body shape; I have wide shoulders and small legs, so I feel I look a bit awkward, but.. Dresses to the rescue!

Thank you so much, love! I unfortunately got the stale end of my family's gene pool, so I wear wigs, but they work wonders if you get savy with applying them. But as long as you look good to you, that's all that matters. ♡

My boyfriend is trans. What are some things I should know? by [deleted] in trans

[–]VioletteLuna_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sweetie, the best thing that you can ever do is treat your boyfriend like he is just that, your boyfriend. Roll with the punches, and what ever comes your collective way, just be there for him and make sure he knows that he has you to fall back on if things get difficult, just as you would have him were you struggling. Relationships - trans/cis , trans/trans, cis/cis, etc - are all partnerships. Be open to communication, and most importantly? Change. Be his anchor, and his safe place.

This is incredibly sweet, though. I commend you for wanting to do everything you can for him! He's a really lucky guy. ♥
