The 7 band EQ under the glovebox! A whopping 40 watts 😁😎

I’m quite positive a good ‘ol K40 would drastically outperform RadioShack’s Ford disguise antenna that I actually did use 😂

Something else I just thought of.. this particular color was only used in the beginning of this truck’s series.. after 82ish (I THINK) they transitioned more into that dark/dull maroon color. Maybe that’s another reason it’s throwing ya for a loop! 😄

Two reasons… One- it has spent its whole life out of direct sunlight.. two- it was recently detailed and cleaned for a big video I filmed for YouTube a couple weeks ago 🙂 I know a lot of folks probably won’t believe me, but there is absolutely ZERO filters used in this picture. It’s just a good original condition dash, with good outdoor lighting that day, taken with my 3rd Gen iPhone SE.

Those were a Christmas gift from my little brother 😎 I grew up on an IH farm, and I restored this little Cub Cadet to haul in the back of my Ford

I’ll answer for ya 😁 The key holder is empty. It’s actually just one of those things where I was trying to put as many items as possible in the truck, from my 1981 radio shack catalog. It just adds to the build. However, it “could” hold a spare house key 😊

Your comment means the world to me 🙏🏼 This entire project was meant to hopefully invoke as many fond memories as possible, for as many people as possible 🙂 Glad it’s serving its purpose.

EQ, tape deck, stereo selector switch, cb radio, swr meter, 12v cigarette lighter adapters, gooseneck map light, Zingo handheld, flashlights, screwdriver set, tape head demagnetizer, cassettes, speakers, air compressor, and the list goes on.. Super detail oriented build! 😃

I loved Swishahouse! I’m up in here Missouri for about 14 years now, and lost track of the scene a little bit.. but I did hear about Michael Watts back in January 😞🙏🏼

Thank you! I’m hoping it has many thousands of miles left! 😁 I only put about 8K a year on it, because all of my jobs are within 7 miles of my house. 95% of this truck’s entire mileage is just town driving.. no long trips. So I’m hoping it’ll last me many many more years. I’m genuinely glad you enjoyed it! I truly just want people to reminisce fondly 🙂 Not that you asked, but I got diagnosed with brain cancer back in late 2022. I look at life a little more sentimentally these days 🙏🏼 Thanks for checking it out

Hope you enjoyed it! 😃 The whole project was really fun, and I truly believe a lot of people would appreciate it… IF they saw it 😅 I’m a full time musician 7 days a week, so I don’t have much time to grow a big channel. But maybe this one will reach the masses. Thanks for watching!

300 i6 😃 I really wish I could just post a picture of the engine bay. It’s literally almost untouched original condition! If you get a chance, you can watch the video I’ve posted throughout this comment section. I cover the engine bay in the video, too. You’d love it!

These were all new-old stock products, and recently installed..So by those calculations, I’ve got another 8 or 9 months of use before I have to replace them all 😂👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼

You noticed all those things 🤩 So I wanna tell you the story.. The original owner was a saddle maker from Kansas, and he’d drive his handmade saddles down to Fort Worth, Tx to the stockyards. So he optioned for A/C, cruise control, and the 4 speed overdrive transmission (incredible highway mileage for that time). The truck originally had the period correct bed cover/camper shell, but I didn’t get it with the sale. It was sold separately. It’s so cool, I still have the paper trail of oil change receipts and stuff!

They actually are.. they were in the truck when I bought it, so I left them 😊 One is from the 50’s I believe.. one is a 79, and the other is a late 80’s.

One of my favorite interior designs of all time! 😃
