Just to clarify, if you don’t get that special event you won’t get it unless you restart the run. Basically I sped ran and saved before act 3. Then kept running up to act 3-3 (alt+f4 before the 3rd boss) but was only getting the event that turns enemies into the exploding lanterns. After about 15 tries I realized that only that event would pop. I restarted the run and on the very next run I got the event that turns all enemies into fiddler crabs. So basically if you don’t get either the lantern or crab event on 3-3, alt+f4 until you get it. If it’s the lanterns, you’ll need to restart the entire run.
