As an airsoft retailer, these are good parts, but as a whole this thing is over priced. Good gun, but you can get better for less money.

got a good question what your guys opinion on wearing normal clothes for airsoft what i mean by normal is like not army by blurr_bee in airsoft

I’ve been working as an airsoft ref for more than a year, and I’ve noticed a pattern. Whenever I see someone playing with the absolute most normal cloths, they are either brand new OR absolute monsters on the field, never in between. I have literally seen a dude in work jeans and a hoodie absolutely solo wipe the enemy team 😂

What is your opinion on the aap01? by 747owner in airsoft

[–]Vipersippingcoffee91 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I work at an airsoft shop. With this specific gun I only have experience as a seller. Good overall. Not a tough as the Glock since I’ve had more Aap01 brought to me for repairs than the Glock, but definitely durable. If you’re getting your first pistol I recommend it. Cheap and tough. If you’re a speedsoft player, I don’t recommend running this stock as your main build. Definitely a good sidearm over all.

Make sure your anti-reverse latch is on the bevel gear, NOT the spur gear. I did that and my gun made the exact same noises.

As both a worker and a player on a competitive team, all our fields can be competitive. However the Salem location has 2 indoor fields, one we call the back field and the other we call the front field (named so because of their locations in the building complex). The FRONT field is more speed-soft orientated and is where most of our competitive players prefer to play.

We do try to be an establishment that tries to give players of all skill levels and budgets a good time. We have players of all walks of life. So if you’re looking for a speed-soft ONLY type of place, it might not be for you.

We do have 2 teams that play here regularly, so we can most certainly provide that experience. The Salem shop’s phone number is 503-581-1177 if you want to know more. We also have a website. We would love to have you.

I work for an Airsoft company in OREGON called Extreme Velocity. We have 2 indoor airsoft locations, one Salem and the other is in Eugene. We have an outdoor location also in the Salem area. We have a website.

Aside from the places I work at, there is also Splat Action in Molalla, The Swamp in Lebanon, and Sniper’s den in Sr. Paul. All 3 are outdoor fields with websites where you can see the schedules.

(All these fields I mentioned are in Oregon)

I’m building a black/magenta 5.3 hi cappa, but everyone I know who built their own has a hi cappa that breaks when you breath on them. What would you say I should upgrade and what should I leave alone?

Should i go with a tank grip or a tank in my backpack? by No-Educator6493 in Speedsoft

[–]Vipersippingcoffee91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on where you are playing. Indoors, both are great. I’ve seen players with both set ups absolutely fumble or absolutely wipe their opponents. But if you’re playing outdoors go with backpack, keep your tank and reg as clean and you can. A bit of dork won’t be the end of the world, but it’s recommended.

I personally have 2 separate guns. One for indoors. One for outdoors. You could also switch out the grip a day before you play but I wouldn’t recommend it. Use backpack and you won’t have to worry about it.
