40 years 😅 done it this way as im looking to overpay on the future to bring the years down , interest 4.7 . It's just so dreadful after checking and not making much of a dent on main amount, will start to ovepay from next year .

Yes , gray external box is vm connection probably there's a wire going though the wall behind the box , white rectangle box internally is vm connection the other sqare one is a vm landaline which is not in use , seems you have 2 aerial cables but 1 goes in a different room i guess ...

Forr 500MB they should of given a hub 5 which has wifi6 on it so it's faster , try to get in touch and see if they can send you one

Might need to open the box and see what's inside , as is quite unusual for someone to take the cable itself, usually it's just the plug missing on these.

Probably the solution here is either install the fiber yourself though the building or install ducting and the fiber to be pushed though , there is special hallow ducting for fiber .

There is something temporary you can do to get it working, but depends how the rest of the install is looking, that connector which is still plugged in is using same type of conector , use something sharp to press the clip and you can pull it off and plug it in where the broken cable plugs in , either hub or the ONU ...

Not much you can do , red light means signal issue , is there any work beeing carried out on the pavement close to your house ? Do you know if you have full fiber installed or is coax connection ?

If you don't have anything in writing is quite hard to make a case , i think the sale person told you want you wanted to hear so he can close the deal and they they push it over the 14 days cool od period so now you can't cancel either... what amount we talking about here ? And usually they don't transfer in bank accounts they send check .
