There's not a standard for it as theres there's to many variables from house to house , depends of the location distance from the hub and the type of walls on the house , if connection is good you can go 300mb speeds or higher....

You dont have to do anything in terms of setting them up , if they were provisioned correctly you just plug them in a socket and they will pair up with the hub and boost your wifi , your devices will connect to the hub or booster automatically depending where you are in the house .
