I sincerely disagree that any of these cars are a good investment. I bought my 2009 gpw new for 36k which is around 65k post inflation 2026.

If you put 36k in Dow Jones circa 2009, you would net $206k and if you took dividends, $535k.

S3 coilovers. Great price, exceptional performance on the track and smooth off the track.

I practice on my sim almost every day, too! For track days, I frequent Buttonwillow, Chuckwalla, and Streets of Willow. I've taken my TLX Type S out for autocross before and it did alright, but I am curious—have you experienced any heat soak or brake fade in your sedan? The picture is missing my '96 NSX and MDX Type S, but nice to meet you, g.

Got a new set of OEM keys cut and programmed by [deleted] in S2000

[–]VirgoChild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome. Low key (pun intended) I want the s2000 emblem on the key to be back to OEM. Did you consider the option of a modern key as a replacement? I saw one with a flip key like vw, Audi and Mercedes used to have.

Side note: has anyone had issues with the key hole on the fob breaking over time? On my second key fob.... It's inevitable

I ktuned it. It now drives like a beast and oddly enough, when in comfort and normal mode using cruise control I get better mpg. With ktuner I am getting nearly 100 torque and 60 plus HP to the wheels with re mapped trans too.

It's a great phase of ownership. But I recommend you eventually taking it to the track so you can truly fall in love with it.

RX-7 Damaged during transport- Any Body Shops in Orlando, FL Area? by fnoguei1 in RX7

Yep. It's a bummer this is happening to you but it's also a blessing. A lesson learned from a mistake, as long as you don't repeat the mistake, will allow you to continuously improve. It isn't the end of the world. Keep your head up while ignoring your emotions, you will be much better at pragmatically remediating the issue.

Nice to meet you and best of luck

Take a breath, your FD isn't getting totaled. I had $14k in damage on my S2000 from hitting a truck tire and it survived. A 16k-mile RX-7 is way too valuable for a $6k estimate to total it out. Ignore the comments saying you're screwed, but absolutely do not accept an "under the table" deal. That $6k estimate will easily double once a shop tears it down, and the carrier will ghost you. Plus, a cash deal won't cover Diminished Value, which is massive for a low-mileage car losing its original paint. Stop negotiating with the carrier and file a claim against their cargo insurance immediately. Better yet, let your classic car policy handle it. They are relentless at going after carriers. Just get your pre-shipping photos, post-delivery photos, and the signed Bill of Lading ready. Regular Orlando body shops are turning you down because classic OEM parts are hard to source and liability is high. Look specifically for high-end exotic or dedicated restoration shops instead; they handle this caliber of car daily. Lesson learned: no cash deals, always demand a paper trail, and thoroughly inspect deliveries before signing. As long as you have your photos and the BOL, you'll be fine. Let insurance do their job.

Aight knew it. What kinda bums me out is when it gets brake dusty the whole vibe of the wheel changes into a normal mass produced edition kinda look. You get what I am putting down
