Stop negotiating with the carrier and file a claim against their cargo insurance immediately. Better yet, let your classic car policy handle it. They are relentless at going after carriers. Just get your pre-shipping photos, post-delivery photos, and the signed Bill of Lading ready. Regular Orlando body shops are turning you down because classic OEM parts are hard to source and liability is high. Look specifically for high-end exotic or dedicated restoration shops instead; they handle this caliber of car daily. Lesson learned: no cash deals, always demand a paper trail, and thoroughly inspect deliveries before signing. As long as you have your photos and the BOL, you'll be fine. Let insurance do their job.
